AtomicSkier Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Must have had her Wheaties...Skimom almost tasting that gold today... Maybe it was the booster straps. you got them already? how were they workin? worth the $50? Quote
skidude Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I think skimom has connections. Not sure how much they cost but I think she got me some too...Maybe I can try them out at Bear creek this week. Quote
chrisjur Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I think Rocket had its best conditions of the year this weekend. I took 4 runs in a row down it at 1pm, which is typically a big no-no on a snowboard, but it was just great. Quote
chrisjur Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 I'm an idiot, I meant to say Cliffhanger, not Rocket. Rocket was good, too, but I still found a big an ice patch or two. Quote

Cliffhagner was Horrid i tell you, HORRID on friday. There was even a rock exposed on the right side. Im a fan of nice shapped moguls, but they were staggared with ice patches in between. I felt the rocket, and the Hump were nice on friday night Quote
skidude Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 OMFG You baby. If there was ANY ice on that trail I wanted to hit it. I looked crossed the side adn couldn't find any. I had to settle for a little patch of hardpack. I agree it was not great..Too much soft lose snow...NEEED MORE ICE Quote
skigurl Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 dude i was in 7th heaven on fridya night with rocket, i think Adam was ready to kill me after about the 8th time i made him go down it Quote
skidude Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 No I like that trail....Just 5 times then a different trail for a run then 5 more times works a little better Quote
AtomicSkier Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 No I like that trail....Just 5 times then a different trail for a run then 5 more times works a little better rocket was nice, yea, dromedary, like always, was just perfect Quote
SomeGuyWhoSkis Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Or you could be like me and hit Rhodo ten times in a row. Hey, the Raceway Triple is the most confortable lift on the mountain and don't even try to argue. The racers get everything nice dammit. Quote

Hey, the Raceway Triple is the most confortable lift on the mountain and don't even try to argue. The racers get everything nice dammit. camelbacks quads suck in that they have no padding...the raceway triple IS the best lift on the mt, meadows being the worst, no padding or no leg rests Quote
SomeGuyWhoSkis Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 But the Meadows allows you to view all the idiocy (and craziness) of the park! SO it gets 3 pluses for that. The worst lift on the mountain is Cleo because technically its not a lift anymore, just a big peice of metal on the mountain collecting snow. Quote
nick malozzi Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 (edited) or you can spend like 3 hours hitting the same rail like i did on friday. wow i never hiked that much! haha. i hate all lifts. i can't wait for them to perfect teleportation. Edited February 3, 2004 by Jibophonic Quote

skidude Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Jeff CB's quads are so fast we don't need any padding Quote
AtomicSkier Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 hey this topic was about ME, so lets get it back on tract Quote
