theprogram4 Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) camelback is claiming they will be open for skiing in april. they have a habit of saying these things and then going back on it, however, props to them for at least considering april opening as opposed to blue mountain, who has spent the past 3 weeks bragging about closing in march with plenty of snow left (but hey, at least the joggers will have snow to run on) Edited March 26, 2019 by theprogram4 1 Quote

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 JF seems to be shooting for 4/1. But maybe they are fooling. Surely that day would not be profitable, so only for bragging rights. Quote

They dont feel there is a difference between frost and boulder as far as they are concerned. Like everyone that skis frost is just as happy to go to boulder. Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 That is nuts to close on a Friday. Why not just close after last weekend? Throwing $ away. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 That is nuts to close on a Friday. Why not just close after last weekend? Throwing $ away. It'll probably be empty. Not sure how much they'd make this weekend, if anything at all. Quote
PSUFrankenstein Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 Montage is saying 4-6 as their last day. Last time I was there they did have a lot of snow on the north face but not sure how conditions will be 1 Quote

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 Weekend of 4/6-4/7 we might have to do a PASR at camelback or montage if blue isn’t open. Blue are you reading this. Quote
theprogram4 Posted March 26, 2019 Report Posted March 26, 2019 Lol at montage staying open later than blue. For a mountain that had a great season, they are fucking up down the home stretch. Quote

Yes or be open Monday. The problem is that the forecast is warm no late March or early April snowstorm like last year. Anyway being open from Root Friday until March 31 is solid to me and this wasn’t a very snowy winter and on cold in spurts. Edited March 27, 2019 by GrilledSteezeSandwich Quote
