RidgeRacer Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 Grabbed my free ticket (70 bucks otherwise). First run and immediately went searching for the famed Basslicker. Found it. It's fun but really short. The equivalent of lower sidewinder and not much else. definitely not a double black. Also skied Margie's. Forgot how short the runs are on this side 5 1 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 I wonder why they’re even open. Thought it was raining. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted March 31, 2019 Author Report Posted March 31, 2019 Skied Basslick 2 more times. Ski2 live is right. It's narrower than lower sidewinder for sure. You enter it from rocket but it looks like they are working on an entrance from the top that'll include a few more turns. Props to CB for converting the defunct Alpine slide into a ski trail. 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 Is it totally empty there? Quote
RidgeRacer Posted March 31, 2019 Author Report Posted March 31, 2019 Is it totally empty there?Actually no. It's not crowded by any stretch but there are people here. Snows good, typical spring conditions. Coverage is decent Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 They more or less got rid of the Bactrian off the Stevenson to make way for the mountain coaster. It wasn’t anything to write home about, but it had some really fun curvy turns at the bottom that added some length and variety. Glad to see them make a new one similar to it. Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted April 6, 2019 Report Posted April 6, 2019 Bactrian still thereDidn’t they shut down the runout due to the low parts of the mountain coaster? That was my favorite section of that trail. I felt like I was on a Camelback style boardercross for a turn or two. Quote
