GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted January 27, 2020 Report Posted January 27, 2020 It will be interesting if Camelback attracts any of the Blue bumpers. Quote
tarponhead Posted January 27, 2020 Report Posted January 27, 2020 It will be interesting if Camelback attracts any of the Blue bumpers. If blue can maintain some type of bump line we will work to make them skiable. I think then most will stay as there is no love for CB among the bumpersIf blue completely shits to bed on this then yeah, some (most?) folks gonna walk. Believe me - conversations are happening. 1 Quote

EdBacon Posted January 28, 2020 Report Posted January 28, 2020 (edited) Didn't CBK always have bumps up on Marje's Day Out? Or whatever that run is called? Edited January 28, 2020 by EdBacon 1 Quote
momskeeztoo Posted January 29, 2020 Report Posted January 29, 2020 They did have a bump run somewhere last when we went there end of season. Free tickets. Quote

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted January 30, 2020 Report Posted January 30, 2020 I have often seen skier carved bumps at CB. Lower Cleopatra often is left ungroomed to bump up. Never seen the seeded ones there - and I prefer the naturally carved ones. Quote
Deleted Posted January 31, 2020 Report Posted January 31, 2020 Being a non-bump ignoramus what’s different this year to prior years now that there’s bumps on Main Street? I get that it took a while to get ‘em set but besides that? Quote

I get that it took a while to get ‘em set but besides that?Supposed to seed small - skiers will then ski in the line. New groomer was seeding full sized monstrosities that basically was a series of cliff drops. So a well executed seeded line will be bumping fun within a few hours after seed. Blues monstrosities took days to ski in 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted January 31, 2020 Report Posted January 31, 2020 Hopefully lesson learned for Blue then. No ”A" for effort? Quote
tarponhead Posted January 31, 2020 Report Posted January 31, 2020 Hopefully lesson learned for Blue then. No ”A" for effort?Second time they seeded was just as bad as the first time. Learned Butkus Quote

The problem is/was that none of the other groomers wanted to learn how to seed them when given the opportunity. I understand that none of the groomers really want to be bothered seeding them, but they’re forced to by management just to keep Barney’s alive as a trail. Quote
