Popular Post toast21602 Posted February 9, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted February 9, 2020 (edited) Hello Everybody, Blue was good today. Much better than yesterday and it actually felt like winter should feel with cold air and sun on your face to start the day. In the House that Ray Build were @AtomicSkier @Schif@GrilledSteezeSandwich @Johnny Law @indiggio @RootDKJ Ryan @mute1080 @PSUFly @JFskiDan @enjoralas (and dad) @Justo8484 @KevinThomas @saltyantand more! The snow was pretty damn good today, but ROTD was definitely Main Street with a nice soft skiff of snow on top that had super grip, and fun to rip. The bumps were freshly seeded and were small, which was great to start to ski in. They were a ton of fun and it was nice to get back into bumps that weren't the size of smart cars. The parking lot situation was incredible again thanks to Enjo. Breakfast Sundays might be better than the regular sausage Sundays. Egg Sammies, freshly made guac, and meats were fantastic. Always good skiing with your goons. Ski y'all later! Edited February 9, 2020 by toast21602 12 1 Quote

PSUFrankenstein Posted February 9, 2020 Report Posted February 9, 2020 Today was great...or grate. Sidewinder was the run of the day for me. I put new bindings on both of my boards, so I was doing some adjustments through the morning, but with the soft snow, I was able to break them in and carve pretty easily. Brunch was awesome...good time, see you guys next weekend 1 Quote
indiggio Posted February 9, 2020 Report Posted February 9, 2020 Yes indeed! Very hard pressed to find anything to nit-pick about today! New snow was excellent and the grooming was even, dare I say, good and the bumps, thanks to Bumper Gary for giving his time to Blue to help them learn how to make them. Together they did a great job and after the sun hit them, they were as good as they have ever been. Damn! I missed out on the guac, but did have some @enjoralas’s sausage, which was as delicious as always. Thanks Enjo!! Hopefully the partroller that went off Challenge is not in too serious a condition. 1 Quote

Johnny Law Posted February 9, 2020 Report Posted February 9, 2020 Today was super grate, snow was pretty excellent and enjorales god damn man. The egg bacon and cheese on English muffins were amazing but the pork was truly devine. I'm not worthy of such meat lol 4 1 Quote

RidgeRacer Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Riding the quad.... Snow is wicked fast. Can edge just fine so fun. 6 pack is out commission. Comfortable temps, low crowds. Good night to ski before yet another week of rain. 4 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Gotta love the section on switch that's straight darkness for 3 or 4 seconds. Adds flavor to the trail when night skiing. 2 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Hello everybody, I hope everybody enjoyed the lifestyle shots. I didn’t have the energy after skiing for a detailed report as I was in a beer and breakfast meat coma. I arrived at the lower lot real early I think 710am the only person already there was Slim..also in the house were Johnny Law, Indiggio, JFDan, Atomic Jeff, Justo, Rose, Root, BenM, TheRealKT, Enjorales, Enjorales Dad, Enjorales Cousin, Ryan, Mute, PSUfly, Schifdawg, Eddie, Falco, Charles, Matt Edge, Salty, my achievement plaque and many more. First civivilan quad..challenge was better and there were ski patrollers hauling off a trainee who had hit a tree. Skied challenge a second time while most did Sidewinder..I skied sidewinder like three times Saturday and while it was good snow the Root rollers when there is no light early could turn into a hermanshaker..39 days into the season and no falls yet for me and I don’t want to go mad Homer Simpson there..doh Main Street was run of the day had an encounter with a race team coach with a patroller badge in the six pack line he was telling people to slow down at the shuttle. I didn’t know that was a slow skiing trail..I thought just paradise, Burma, vista and easy out..he mentioned the three slow signs at the bottom of Main Street..I mentioned his missing front tooth. Back to the skiing Switchback was also nice and did one run on paradise was that bad washboard surface and packed..nightmare to Dream Weaver closed at least early for the freeriders and razors closed for the PA cup races. Sausage sunday breakfast edition was a hit with bacon, sausage, pork rolls, eggs, pancakes all that and a bag of cheese noodles..hungout in the lot till like 3pm got some color..errr Red...was a nice day with good temperatures.. 2 Quote
indiggio Posted February 10, 2020 Report Posted February 10, 2020 Looks like Blue closing early today (Monday) at 4pm, big surprise there! 1 Quote

Maybe they’ll just be closed all day tomorrow since the rain will end early afternoon. Imagine if they were open for night skiing only tomorrow. That would be progressive 1 Quote
