Justo8484 Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Probably don’t try and go to Italy tomorrow if you’re skiing zermat. And drink more wine and beer. Alcohol kills germs, right?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote

Who knows, everyday this thing gets crazier. The flight availability was the concern for us. Sure, we are citizens, but with all of the restrictions for non-US, we were concerned that flights would be cancelled. It does get crazier everyday.... because it wasn't taken seriously when it first started. Edited March 12, 2020 by toast21602 2 Quote
AtomicSkier Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 We're all out of here today via LHR. @toast21602 and I are going to EWR on UA, and @KevinThomas is going to PHL. 4 Quote

saltyant Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 (edited) Good thinking, get out of Yurp while you can. Italy is basically under martial law right now. Edited March 12, 2020 by saltyant Not marshall law... Quote

AtomicSkier Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 For you aviation nerds following along, I’ll check off two firsts on my flight from Geneva to Heathrow. It’s my first time flying Swiss, and my first time on an Airbus A220 (formerly known as the Bombardier C-series). Not even a bronze lining, though. 1 1 Quote

Our phones were blowing up around 2:45am. We’re now at the Geneva airport. Whirlwind couple of hour. Our LHR-EWR flight was half full as of 5am. It is now completely sold out. 1 Quote

eaf Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Ooh, it sucks getting plans cut short like this! So close to Zetmatt! If the only fears are flights cancellations I would likely stay and then let the airlines bail me out. It's their problem. 1 Quote

Shadows Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 maybe trump can get airlines to waive travel fees like the insurance companies. 1 1 Quote
