Guess I need champagne tonight instead of next week.

If the whole world is going to burn I'll at least sit in the snow for it.

Well shit...this sucks.  Although if it's as serious as people are making it out to be, I dont necessarily disagree with it

I completely agree with the decision. Social distancing is so important for preventing the spread. I'm sure there are experts here who disagree, but whatever. Hopefully you are all smart enough to take the appropriate precautions to keep you and your loved ones safe.

I'm out for this weekend, somebody eat some meat and drink some beer for me. Glad my last ski day was this:

I understand their decision but they say "due to weather" this will be our last weekend of skiing though. I read that as we're closing for the season due to weather not the coronavirus. Just saying. Either way I'm not mad.

Crested Butte is still skiing great. Barb did here a rumor that there was talk of it shutting down but we have heard nothing to prove that to be true.
at this point, i am content with my ski season possibly coming to an end sunday at CB (not to be confused with camelsack) No tears will be shed by me.

My sentiments exactly.

most of the people commenting on FB dont seem to realize they are closing early to save money, not cause of the corona virus.  passholder party and other events might be cancelled cause of corona, but the lifts are closing early to save $

Had a meeting this week with bankers, and no one was shaking hands, lol. The new norm is the Vulcan salute that Mr. Spock does.

one of the higher ups from France came in this week before all travel was completely shut off, and he said how weird it is for him to not greet others without the whole double cheek kiss thing. He then proceeded to fist bump us all at the conference table.

Any word if Camelback is doing the Alien pass?

Hope so. I work this weekend, so missing closing day, on top of their last minute decision to close this week. I really love spring skiing and tailgating after the clocks spring ahead, pretty much robbed of that this year. Blue doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Covid 19, it’s all money. More people die of the regular flu every year. The media has totally had a field day with this. Went to Aldi today to buy a few things, the shelves were practically bare!!! WTF people get a grip.

Haha I think it’s weird..sets a weird tone to start appointment..and they’re still touching all the design cards and granite samples.  I have to try and find those wipes this weekend for at work. My mom is pretty nervous about the corona virus. I’m just hoping colorado ski resorts and domestic airlines are still running next month..
