The whole looting and violence is really starting to bother me because it is taking away from the majority of people who are peacefully protesting for legitimate reasons. Unfortunately, all we see on the news is the violence. Back to COVID... the whole state will be "Yellow" on Friday. The confirmed daily cases continues to show a positive trend and I hope that continues as the state starts to "open up" again. 4 Quote

Doesn't it take years, not months, to test all the potential side effects? I don't take the flu vaccine and don't get the flu very often despite being around the general public all the time. Yeah yeah, COVID is x% more lethal than the flu... Very often!? A very healthy friend of mine got the flu two years ago and he was pretty sick. That's when I started getting the shot. Prior to that I don't think I knew anyone personally that has had the flu. Quote

Do you think we’ll see a spike next week due to all the black people matter protests? Yesterday there were only 9 new cases in Allentown which is really good. Quote

They’re driving up from Florida they put off funeral to this weekend so they can have 25 people there instead of 10. I’m a pussy just like you. I made it this long without corona I don’t want it now. Besides my parents and my brother, I can count the number of people I've had non-socially distant unprotected interactions on two hands. 5 of them are on here, and most of them have only been very recently. I'm extremely cautious about those who I don't have a good handle on their precautions, etc. 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted June 3, 2020 Report Posted June 3, 2020 And my office isn’t the typical retail..people sit across from me at a table and handle granite samples and design cards and my old customers cough and sneeze normally..not worth it when I’ve been able to do like 90% normal business with nobody in the office. Our grandparents went through WWI the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression, and WW2 where people were unemployed, staples were rationed, gas was rationed, people grew victory gardens, etc. And they didn't have TV never mind cable TV, internet, phones in their pockets and they sacrificed for the common good. The people who whine about wearing a mask to go into a store or place of work are the real pussies. Quote

One of my Facebook friends was just in ocean city Maryland and he was so happy he didn’t have to wear a damn mask. I really believe the masks have really helped keep the spread down. Quote
