is it leading to increased cases? Probably not but it’s showing how comfortable people are getting. 

I don’t think most of the stores are sanitizing their carts anymore anyway. Informal anecdotal, but several stores I’ve seen the cart attendants just gathering the carts from the lot and adding them to the lineups at the store. Admittedly haven’t watched like a hawk.  I take one from the corral every time unless it’s raining.

Edited for duplicate post. Might as  use it in the vein of grocery shopping to post a deal alert on whole beef tenderloin at Giant for $6.99. Easily break it down yourself for filet mignon at a fraction of the price!

I've seen the Weis In Macungie spray down carts with sanitizer(after they gather them up)...But I have also seen people take them from the parking lot....They also have sanitizing wipes at the door before you enter the store...

My friend who works at the intermediate unit with special kids has a coworker who got sick and tested positive for Covid.  They are now going virtual for two weeks.  I asked her if she’s getting tested and she said no because she has no symptoms but she’s quarantining for two weeks yet she lives with her old parents.  Shit is getting really really hot.

A lot of stores were sanitizing the belts between every customer early in the pandemic but I don’t see as much of that.  What’s annoying is at the one state store they have an employee stationed at the door I guess to monitor how many are in the store and it’s impossible not to be within 2 feet of them.  

 

People arent doing as good of a job keeping their distance in lines. I swear I’m gonna start touching people who get within arms length and say sorry didn’t know my arm was over six feet long.

The Giant in Walnutport still sanitizes carts, has wipes throughout the store, employees sanitizing handles on doors to freezers, and cleans belts between use.

Having a nurse for a wife means that she doesn't believe that they've been sanitizing the carts from the get-go and always does it herself, regardless.

I'm definitely starting to get short with people in public. Guy at tractor supply had a mask below his nose. Completely unacceptable at work.

I was just at Whole Foods.  Was crowded...they are no longer spraying down the belts between customers even though there’s a sign saying to wait to place items on belt until they spray it down.  A lot of people out and about reminds me of mid March before the lockdown.

If I let everybody dick nosing it bother me, I’d be bothered constantly.  Meanwhile in LOLFloridumb Covid is over according to a girl I know who moved there a few months ago.  Bars and restaurants are fully open and they’re only averaging like 4-5,000 cases a day for a state with double our population but I think they’re fudging the numbers and have had tons of cases for months while we were alright. 

 

Like why even wear a mask..if you’re gonna wear it like this.  Hair stylist is the donkey of the day Hee Haw Hee Haw

I used to do that but stopped because when I thawed the meat a lot of the blood came out so steals were dry. Curious what do you do to prevent that?

How do you defrost it?

OK, for the lawyers among us, what would these restrictions technically be called? Executive actions? Ordinances? Where do they fall in the spectrum of legality. They are clearly not laws. 

I'm just trying to understand what kind of legal jiu jitsu these guys are doing to get around: 

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I'm sure tighter restrictions for the rest of PA are not far behind.  I've heard from multiple people that they're going to announce something soon, but not sure what exactly is going to happen.  At least it looks like daycares will still be open, although that could change.

What about the right of people to peacefully assemble?  The government has no right to tell people they cannot visit their families...

What's the penalty for exceeding the government's limit on people in a private residence? A fine? Prison time? Just wondering...

It’s one of those situations like if a tree falls in the forest and nobody sees it fall did it fall.  I know I’m not allowed in any of my relatives homes for thanksgiving.  They’re all careful and having like drinks in driveways with relatives still and they’re mostly 70+ years old.  My friend is facing a dilemma concerning thanksgiving cause her sister is hosting a children’s bday party a week before thanksgiving and 2 out of 3 family members voted against thanksgiving.  When the pandemic is over have two thanksgivings or something.
