skiing on christmas is the best! Without any kids, I've had a riutal of skiing with my brother and his fiancé. We've done Wolf Creek, Alta, Loveland, and others.

Crowds are low, especially in the morning. This year, hoping to ski Arapahoe Basin on Christmas Day before my blackout days kick in.

I’ve never skied on Xmas day because Blue is always closed then and I don’t take ski trips that week cause it’s expensive everywhere.  My uncle was a ski patroller at Jackson frost and he always worked Xmas day.  They’d say Jewski lol

Although name tags or personalized parking spots w/your screennames would be great.

They paved the lot..right? I'll bring the chalk.

Is skiing considered an outdoor gathering cause that’s limited to 50

I had the same question and can’t find anything about it. This crazy spike that we are having right now is becoming more concerning for skiing than o anticipated it would a month ago.

We are good for tomorrow at least. New order isn’t in affect until midnight tomorrow.  This is gonna hurt Blue even worse with no slopeside grill at least indoors.

I would guess they are just going to double down on outdoor seating

yup. I'm curious how they address this. I feel like there will be a lot more parking lot activities beyond our row and and cowbell folks.  Did you watch the press conference? Everyone who was on from hospital systems across the state basically said they are at 100% capacity and are cancelling a lot of elective procedures again to try and mitigate the rise of cases. Also stating that there are more positive cases at home than earlier this year that could potentially end up being admitted. Its not good.

Good point.

I would guess that they are operating under whatever class of business an amusement park or botanical garden is. Hersheypark and Longwood Gardens are both open

Just what I could find based on limited googling. Too much Facebook drama to read. It would be a dagger to Blue if they had to close for three weeks.

Not even thinking of myself I don’t bitch about things out of my control

Could be accurate. Although the only fitness I get at Blue are 12/16oz curls in the lot.
