My parents are getting their first shot today which I'm thrilled about. I'm getting my second next Friday. It seems vaccine/appt information in the city has gotten much better and it isn't as confusing. The FEMA convention center spot is running like a well oiled machine.

I'm hoping things continue on this path so we don't need to push our wedding. We took a big chance picking a wedding date in 2021 but I think we will be fine. We just need indoor catered events to resume by August

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

I finally was able to schedule my first shot for next Monday. Just got lucky on one of sites.

Where at? I'm vaccinating at LVHN-Muhlenburg next Monday (I think?)

CVS Tannersville. I had been looking everywhere in a 2 hr radius for the past three or 4 weeks.

UT and DE are pretty much wide open, with the exception of under 16's all 33 members of my family are now vaccinated and almost all of them got it in UT

Everybody I know who wants a vaccine has at least had their first one so far...the vast majority of my elderly customers are fully vaccinated.  It’s nice allowing customers back in my office but I’m still requiring masks.

MUCH longer line this time than for my first shot. I'm sure it will move quickly though.

Indiggio just came from there.  When I came in for my second one on Tuesday it was only like a 20 minute wait because my appointment was a make up appointment from a cancelled one 6 days prior so I was like VIP and they ushered me to near the front of the line so avoided the endless hallway.

I think I waited about an hour last Friday. Line went back into the mall. 2nd shots were walking right in.

Truth. I would've waited all day for that shot. Plus the phone's battery lasts a while. I was good.

Exactly waiting around for stuff isn’t that bad when you can just play on your Samsung iPhone or whatever you have now.  A few weeks ago I was on the way back from work and stopped at Starbucks to get a little caffeine pick me up and like 10 cars in line and I left my phone at work and was torture...reminded me of the days I used to have to read the back of shampoo bottles and service merchandise catalogues while I was taking a dump.

I know every ingredient in the air freshener in my grandmother’s bathroom in 1988.

Bethlehem's finest made a mess of the traffic pattern.  Geez!  Like it's the first time they've done this?

Why doesn't Bethlehem do a drive-thru like LVH does at Dorney?
They have a ton of parking lot space over at SteelStacks where they could easily do it and not require people to have to park, walk in, line up, etc.   Drive up, get shot, leave and be done with it.

Yeah I'm sure Bethlehem and Wind Creek have some sort of dealio going on to get people in there to shop, gamble.

Indiggio the next time there’s a major vaccination effort the Bethlehem health bureau should contact you for logistical advice. They’ve vaccinated over 30,000 people and the wind creek casino was generous enough to donate the space.  It’s up to the individual whether they want to eat, gamble or shop there after being vaccinated. Anyway I take what you say with a grain of salt cause you bitch about everything.

Anyone planning on not getting the vaccine?

There were lengthy discussions about this topic on 3 consecutive rides up the Challenge Express this weekend. There may have been more but I decided to check out the Quad instead since it has a nice view.

What is this challenge express you speak of?  I know of a lift called “six pack” and a lift called “quad”

The "six pack". During that time I was harshly criticized for not getting the vaccine at this time due to unknown long term side effects, and was even called an anti-vaxxer
