Honestly being able to make reservations Waybin advance as a pass holder for peak days and have fewer folks on the mountains those days sounds like a plus to me unless it proves very difficult to make reservations for desired days even as a pass holder.

Never skied Waybin before. Is it near Hunter?

Got some skiing in last night with @GSSucks.  Parking lot smelled like weed and beer when we pulled in, and piss when we left.  It's no different than Blue's lot.

The big mountain feel of the place really makes you feel like youre out west, simply incredible. Its like skiing in PA without the drive!

Whats the snow like?  I mean, i know its manmade and all, but is it like Blue Mountain snow, or JFBB snow?

The snow is really good.  Probably the best man made stuff I've ever skied on since they don't have any weather to contend with

Considering taking kids to Big Snow tomorrow evening. Based on pix it seems like ample room for social distancing and it will at least be a way to try out their seasonal rental gear for fit while skiing and their existing ski clothes to make sure they dont need larger sizes  - and to have some cool fun.

Hows the temperature inside of there?

28F.  Cool enough that my toes starting getting cold w/o boots heaters after 1h30 min in there.  @GSSucks's friend had spring gloves on, and had cold hands by the end.

we need a PASR day there complete with parking lot beers

Parking deck*.  The asphalt there doesn't drain nearly as well as the gravel of Blue's lot.

We'll go again in October.
