I miss skiing with him.

Very much

Yeah WTF he pretty much ditched skiing when he got his new girlfriend but I also remember that his boots gave him major issues.  A lot of the newer PASRs have never even met Phillycore which is sad.

Definitely miss skiing in general but even more so getting to see all of you guys.

Not skiing has absolutely nothing to do with Erica, although I'm sure that she would rather me not.
Doug is correct that boots have always been a problem for me, unfortunately even more so right around when I stopped.
Not going to make any excuses.
90% of my problems are due to my inability to keep my weight under control.
Combine that with the fact that I tend to not go to the Dr for things and just suffer until I absolutely can't.
Time is not your friend, especially when you don't take care of yourself.

Found out that I ate myself into getting diabetes, dealing with a bunch of pain in my neck, dislocated my tailbone, a bunch of other dumb shit.
Even got the COVID-19.

So in short.... Currently, I'm a fat fuck who can't seem get his shit together.

Miss you fuckers...

I'll be back, count on it.

Good to see you post, hope things get better for you.  We were just talking yesterday at Elk that we miss all your contributions to the beer thread.  I guess with your health stuff going on, probably can't drink as much.

Ditto and phillycore why would your chick prefer you not ski?  I will say you are always good at getting babes.

We first got together not too long before my launch into the snow gun pipe at Elk.
I was really banged up from that, so between that and all the other shit I've had recently....she doesn't want to see me get hurt.
Everyone here knows that at any given time I'm good for finding a way to take a massive yard sale beating. [emoji23]

I was telling benm yesterday about the famous Utah helmet story. One of the scariest moments for me (excluding my dumb accidents of course) on the snow. That however didn't change the fact that that trip was fucking awesome...not just for the pow we skied every day but because you're a great friend and a blast to hang out with. Miss you dude. Get back out there soon.

I can’t imagine a dislocated tail bone is anything less than just straight up torture.

The tailbone thing honestly sucks.
I can't sit down without pain so I end up sitting on one side or the other.
That just tweaks my back so yeah it sucks.

Not something you really want to talk to your Dr about and going to get x-ray etc..
I see a spine specialist next Wednesday so hopefully I'll get somewhere with it.

Combine the tailbone with the muscle weakness and fatigue I've inherited from the Covid and the plantar fascia issues I've already had and well it's just a pain cocktail unless I'm laying down on my side.
Just have to suck it up....

As for the COVID-19

Think I got COVID-19 from my son.
He volunteered the Friday after Thanksgiving to help unload Christmas trees for the Veterans with his boy scout troop.
At first we thought Erica brought it home from work.

I did get it pretty rough but didn't end up in the hospital on ventilation or dead so I'm lucky.
Still dealing with some of it but getting a little better each day.
I'm just trying to put the whole experience behind me.
The loss of smell part isn't bad though, I don't have to worry about gagging when someone at work blows up the bathroom anymore...lol

You come up in conversation often among PASRs. We'd love to see you again at some point so take care of yourself man and don't be a stranger.

Thanks for being open about your Covid experience. So many people I know who’ve had it are very quiet about it or vague.
