Mess Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 I usually go on one trip a year with my family to New York or Vermont. We did not get a trip in last year. With covid travel restrictions to New York and Vermont I am most likely not going agin this year. Are people following the quarantine guidelines before going to other states to ski? Would a trip to Seven Springs or Blue Knob be worth the drive for an overnight stay or better off just skiing local this year? Quote
PSUFrankenstein Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 Blue Knob probably isnt worth the trip, at least right now. Doesn't look they have a lot open. If they get some natural snow, it's well worth the trip. Seven Springs may be worth it, but I've never been there so I can't add any input on that. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 I don’t think NY has any Covid travel restrictions. That’s why it seems to be a popular destination for PASRs 2 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 Also most people are not following quarentine guidelines before going to other states to ski. I see a heck of a lot of NJ plates at Blue. 1 1 Quote

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 No restrix on NY - but restrix on coming back to PA from NY No enforcement really Quote
Mess Posted January 26, 2021 Author Report Posted January 26, 2021 Thanks been a tough year for skiing with all 3 kids and all of the restrictions. Finally got out with them MLK weekend at JF and BB. BB was a shit show at night. Scary skiing with my little ones and so many bad skiers. It is dangerous. 2 Quote
toast21602 Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 Springs is fun and pretty good and could be a nice weekend but NY would offer a lot more. 1 Quote
enjoralas Posted January 26, 2021 Report Posted January 26, 2021 Don’t have to quarantine when you return to PA if you get a negative test 1 Quote
