Yeah, it was really nice there, not crowded and the tables are very spread out. I can't stand where there are people on top of each other like the lodges at Steamboat last year. I'll definitely be taking my breaks there the whole trip. 2 Quote

It was frustrating having to stop and wipe them off multiple times down a run, other wise I couldn't see Jack. A few times I just moved them up onto my helmet so I could frick'in see. They never iced up on the lower half of the mountain Did you have a favorite run? What’s the plan for tonight? Quote
saltyant Posted February 3, 2021 Author Report Posted February 3, 2021 (edited) Today started out shitty for the first hour or so and then improved significantly. It even started to shower some fresh perder later in the day. Couldnt have asked for better conditions. Terrain was rad too. Maybe later I'll post about some trails I enjoyed but now time for SUJOPO Edited February 3, 2021 by saltyant 7 Quote

Black diamonds off Little Whiteface midway station were pretty rad. Hope visibility is better tomorrow at the summit so I can see where I'm going and enjoy the runs more 1 Quote

The website below says Little Whiteface double is a 17 minute ride, but it didnt feel like 17 minutes. Anyway hopefully they open the gondola tomorrow since it's only around 8 minutes bottom to top https://www.skiresort.info/ski-resort/whiteface-lake-placid/ski-lifts/l96484/ 1 Quote

I would buy another vehicle, but likely an SUV this time - better survivability in an accident, more storage space for gear, and more fun to drive 3 Quote

Hope not, since they used wind as the reason for yesterday and today. If it only ran weekends don't think they would blame the wind. Though it wasnt even that windy at the summit 🤷🏻♂️ I like riding gondolas and have taken them midweek at Killington, Stowe, Winter Park and Steamboat. Hoping to ride tomorrow Edited February 4, 2021 by saltyant 1 Quote
