Popular Post PSUFrankenstein
Got to Greek Peak around 8 15...did a couple runs on the black diamonds under the Express lift (iliad and whatever is next to it). Snow is great. It was cold last night passing by the mountain so I wasn't sure how it would be. Grooming was really good on the first few runs...heading over to the east side now. Looks a little more ungroomed but should be fun 12
PSUFrankenstein
Variable conditions on the east side. Hercules (double black with the race team clogging it up) was bumped up and icy. Zeus next to it was bumped up but softer with some powder still on the sides. Did 2 runs on a power line trail...decent snow but I don't think my board enjoyed it.

EdBacon
Debating going up there next weekend. No crowds? Their website says they aren't requiring ticket reservations.

Good amount of trails and glades

Ski2Live Live2Ski
Thanks for the shots and write up. I always havd wanted to check this place out as the closest place of this size I have never made it to - generally because Elk, Hunter, Windham and Plattekill are all closer to me. I think aesop's glade was the middle mtn glade. Hit a few others, only one I remember seeing a sign for was alsos glade. There was a bump run on the east side that was really fun...urethra or something haha. Also, there's a creek running through the edge of one of the trails that I hit and wiped out

Ski2Live Live2Ski
Gonna be skiing Greek for the first time today and tomorrow. Looks like they are in a sweet spot for the Sunday night storm and thinking that it will clear out of here for the drive home Monday night earlier that it clears out of places East, plus the drive home being almost all interstate will make it easier to get home. Good timing on heading there this weekend. Looking forward to hearing how it is. I'd like to get up there sooner than later.
PSUFrankenstein
Have a good time. I may try to go next weekend depending on what's open
Ski2Live Live2Ski
Trails on main face all a hard pack surface today. Parking lot packed and a hazardous sheet of ice, but lidt lines only 3-4 minutes max. Gonna venture to other parts of Mt and see if we can find better snow. Should be way different by tomorrow morning.
Ski2Live Live2Ski
The trails off chairs and 4 and 5 had better conditions. Nice to see there was some coverage on the closed trails including the glades, so the 8-12 they are forecasting for tonight (followed by 1-3 tomorrow).should get everything open.
abe
I am planning on going up for a day once chair 2 or some glades open. Seems like you should have some pretty nice snow tomorrow. It is even accumulating in the woods on top of the stuff from last week way down south by me.
abe
Wow I saw your report on NYski blog and checked Greek Conditions, so much more is open, snow everywhere, all lifts running Edited January 17, 2022 by abe
Ski2Live Live2Ski
Yeah hard to believe it was the same mountain today. Everything had beautiful conditions, every lift running, no lines, every trail and glade skiable. They seemed to have a "please poach" policy. Impressed my girls motivated early enough for us to be on the 17th chair. Their cafeteria food is definitely subpar though. Beautifully clean roads all the way home. Made it door to door in 3.5 hrs.
