A-basin and Loveland are both making snow. Loveland has been making it for the past two days and I think A-basin had just started. I wonder who will open first. Won't be much longer for us, Saturday is October.

We will be lucky to be talking about the PA resorts firing up their guns on the 21st of November.

10/10/05 CO Snow Report:

--OVERALL SITUATION TODAY - This morning snow levels are running close to 8,000 feet (in the mountains, lower on the front range...near 5,000 feet). The closed low pressure system is moving east of the 4-corners area making for more of an easterly upper level wind flow. Areas east of and closer to the divide will do best, as far as accumulating snow is concerned. It looks, according to SNOTEL weather sites, as if between 5 and 10 inches of snow have fallen in many resort areas between Eagle, Summit and Grand Counties, with 14" at Berthoud Pass

$351.40, if you fly from Phili. Then about $50 for the shuttle from Denver to Loveland. :woot
