Jawnee - 3/15/22

Beautiful morning so far at Shawnee. Second time here on my Indy Pass. The place is pretty empty. 40° and sunny when I pulled in. Probably 50°+ now. Plenty of snow. Nice spring morning.

Yeah a few morning runs followed by two uphill laps. One up the Delaware terrain park to the top of the B lift and one up Kittatiny / Bennekill to ski Bushkill which is never open unless the B runs. Definitely closed for a reason.

That's a killer day and uphill in the slush and sun is always fun. 

Super cool that they are down with the uphill, 3 people I've talked to on the lift this year mentioned buying passes at shawnee

It’s a really fun hill for its size and the fact that they allow unrestricted uphill M-F makes it even more appealing and a unicorn among the majority of ski areas.

Shawnee is great…I didn’t realize they moved their park to the other side of the mountain. Last time I was there it was on bushkill and they had the best jump line in the poconos.

Jawnee would make a great billboard

This billboard is in Philly…. and by far my least favorite of the Jawn billboard category 

Jawnee would be a cooler billboard than someone calling themselves “Jawn Morgan” 🙄
