Focused on couple time while at Roxbury, gonna hit Hunter tomorrow. With light weekday traffic and cold temps it should still be quite nice from the 7" they got Sunday through Sunday night.

TFTI. Did you partake in any particular couples activities like Lazer tag? Did anyone in Roxbury get 7"?

Only if Tyrone was staying in Room 112 where the players dwell..I can almost guarantee this song wasn’t blasting from Ski2Lives hacienda

On the fence between Shawnee and Montage for a day this weekend - no time to go further.

If Montage gets enough snow to open the whole North Face this weekend, will likely head there. If only Cannonball and Boomer then will likely burn our 2nd Shawnee Indy day and save our Montage ones, especially as Shawnee blacks out Saturdays after tomorrow until 2nd half of.March.

Great day at Assspen!  The temps didn’t get above 10 degrees. We had a bit of sun for one run then most of the day was a snowy white out. Conditions are amazing. Lots of slow drills which I didn’t mind since I couldn’t see anything.

not a lot of pics as it was so cold. Rinse and repeat tomorrow.

Looks nice!!!  I only skied one day at Ajax/aspen mountain in 2011.  Enjoy the town there’s so many restaurants.  Get your hubby a souvenir.

Gonna hit Shawnee tomorrow PM with girls. They got 4" and opened a 2nd TTB route: Lookout (Blue) to Chief Thundercloud (Black). Will make for a bit more variety than just lapping Pennsylvania (Green) as we did last time.

Another cold one. -4 when we left our condo, 9 degrees at lunch. But the sun was out today! Gondola not working this morning, had to take 3 lifts to get to the top , that was chilly

Glad I made the last minute call to bring the compression recovery legs.  Currently sitting by the fire with a hot cup of tea getting a leg massage, feels good

edit-didn’t realize you had to make a reservation for Aspen. When we went in for lunch I had 8 emails from Ikon stating I had reservation violations. Lol

Glad to see you two getting along. Maybe some day Ski2Live will leave the Pocono Mountains to ski with us at Blue Mountain and we can split a hot cocoa three ways.

Sounds like a plan we can even use our season pass holder benefits and save 10% off hot cocoa or maybe salty maybe you can just make us hot cocoa and bring it in your thermos go easy on the cream.

We brought lots of food to cook dinners and make lunches. Today was a turkey, cheese and avocado wrap.  I did break down and buy a pack of
M & M’s for dessert.

The new Lenawee 6 pack is finally open at ABasin..it’s going to dramatically change the way the mountain skis.  You literally can have your last sip of beer or Bloody Mary at the mid mountain lodge and be back in Montezuma bowl or traversing over to the Beavers in like five minutes.  The old lift was a slow very long triple and the line could get very long on most weekdays and pow days.  Shit will get tracked up faster though that’s the downside.

Having a nice afternoon at Shawnee with girls. Soft enough snow and no lines. Best run is Lookout to Chief Thundercloud. 2nd of our 2 IndyPass days here. Realized this is the place the girls have skied the most - over 20x, maybe up to 25.

The food up top at Ajax I remember being pretty good and they normally had a noodle option like pho or similar......mad lodge ladies for a rather small lodge and I'd bet more than half have never touched skis. Later in the afternoon they would hit the Gorsuch that used to be at the base and then right on to the bar with the hot tub outside but really there entire day is standing around

Oh yeah, we saw the Gorsuch at the base. Saw my share of Aspen things this week for sure. But I really did enjoy the mountain. I would have been intimidated to come on my own.

Plan to hit Okemo on Xmas - a day when conditions will benefit from their having one of the most aggressive and well equipped grooming operations, and the low Xmas crowds will make accessible the 2 bubble chairs (1 heated!) to provide warming opportunities on a cold day.

For Monday I am on the fence between hitting Snow or West (where crowds will likely be smaller - though I am sure it will be a popular day to ski there too). Staying in Williamstown MA ($80/night including tax - with breakfast!) So either is viable.

The Yellowstone club…members only like the 1980s jackets.  Skiing liberty bowl at Big Sky you get a really good view of the Yellowstone club which is small compared to Big sky but only a handful of skiers and riders and I heard free cookies if you know Salty and Ski2Live
