rummy Posted November 18, 2022 Report Posted November 18, 2022 We're at TLCITW opening up the cabin for the season. LE snow showers whitened the partially frozen ground (2"-3" deep), several times yesterday and last night the guns started blasting. In the 34 years of owning TLCITW this is the earliest time I ever saw/heard them blowing.... 5 1 Quote

RidgeRacer Posted November 20, 2022 Report Posted November 20, 2022 Rummy I don't know that I'd call it little. If I recall, when taking the grand tour, there were many rooms. Quote
rummy Posted November 20, 2022 Author Report Posted November 20, 2022 It's a very unique joint... The architect who designed it always wanted a yacht. So he designed as such and stood it on end. There are 4 levels with 2 bedrooms, a loft, 2 bathrooms, small kitchen and dinette. A living room built around a central wood burning fireplace, and a small utility room. There is also a one car garage which is used for firewood, ski, and snowblower storage. Ships ladders(steep) connect the 4 levels. The entire interior is trimmed in mahogany and knotty pine, the bathrooms are tiled. There's also a mirrored ceiling above the captains' quarters bed. The architect was a bachelor and I've heard stories of crazy coke fueled parties held there in the early 80s.. All cabinets and beds are built-ins and the only extra furniture is one chest and the sectional in the living room. There's about 1200 Sq. Ft. of living area. And it sits on a 2 acre, completely wooded, sloping plot of land. There is no summer mowing of grass... sorry Toast. 😃 4 1 Quote

Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted November 28, 2022 Report Posted November 28, 2022 Indy adding a new PA mountain tomorrow. Elk would be my first choice - fits the Indy vibe nicely with all fixed grip lifts. 1 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted November 29, 2022 Report Posted November 29, 2022 Elk would be a big deal. I'd consider buying one next year with elk and montage on it. Quote
