Yeah I stopped at my car for 4 minutes for a banana, Gatorade and granola bar. Plus I stripped a layer. I love the convenience of the car being close to the lift, but I got stuck on some flat trails like stupid Bear Cub twice which was labor intensive so it's still not 100 percent effort free

Sounds grate. Keep us updated on your supper plans.

@mute1080 I don't know what Friday will be like but the Bear Mountain Lodge seems to be the most convenient place to park. Im extremely lazy when it comes to logistics and it was really easy. I got my lift ticket from the dispenser (if you need to do that) and sat in my car until 8:45. 2 minute walk to the lift and there were about 10 people in line. If you want a really nice groomer hit Skyeburst first thing. It felt like a western groomer. Now it's a bit choppy

Thanks for the beta. I was cross checking the trail map to what you were up to because that sounds good to us.

A must do run is Great Eastern which is one of the longest trails in the northeast, or the longest. @Johnny Law will know.

My favorite root is to take K1 Gondola to Bear Traax to Launch Pad and then Great Eastern all the way down to the other gondola. It's easy to take a wrong turn and end up somewhere you didn't intend to go. The fun of Killington

Peak to creek...

Did it once with a level 5, every bump the turtle poked its head out a bit farther.  Made it into the Skyship restroom without a second to spare.

You usually visit killington during the Bump competition weekend, does that mean you usually don’t get to ski Outer Limits?

Yeah, that's Mike.  Drew is next to him.  I'm in the white pants.  Donny is in the middle and Rick is behind him.
I think Tarpon might be in the back left and Slim took the picture.

Fantastic day. Started with actual winter conditions, ended with spring slush. Skied everything I wanted to a few times. First time doing Superstar, was rad; and some trails I didn't do back when I was a noob. Skied 9-3:40 with about 30 minutes or so of cumulative breaks. I'm pretty toast now, time for SUJOPO

I believe that’s been removed for years.  That was 10 miles long..great eastern is I believe 5-6 miles long and there used to be a run called four mile trail.  They should have just cut it into four lazy miles, they were seriously leaving trails on the table.   Stowe always used to have 47 runs or trails while sugarbush had 112 between both mountains but a similar amount of acerage and miles of trails so one summer Stowe went from less than 50 runs to more than 100 without cutting down a single tree.   As a marketing guy I think that’s rad but they could have been more subtle about it.

No thanks, even if it was open I've heard horror stories. I was bitching about Bear Paw or whatever the green is and it only had a few short flat sections.

Salty that’s when you get to skate and use your poles….fantastic like the sunset over the green mountains.  TFTI

They had to close it when they put the new south ridge quad open, something about the quad cutting down a bird habitat and in turn Kmart closed juggernaut as a trade off

Did you ever run Juggernaut? Do you miss it? If they reopened it would you go to Killington to ski that run?

What's cool about Juggernaut, which is the longest in the East is its the only downhill skiing trail where it goes uphill more than it goes down.

When planning my first trip to Killington back in early 2017 (right before joining this forum), I was like "Oh my God, a 6+ mile trail! That's so neat". Good thing it was closed (due to conditions) at the time because I would still be bitching about it to this day if I had done it.

I made that exact mistake and it's like half skating if not more. I have to believe it was an ASC idea so they could claim the longest trail.
