C1erArt
Bit the bullet and took the Skiman base flattering tools to the new Head Kores to put an aggressive spring structure on. Found the factory base to be remarkably flat considering how wide they are. Followed up with various grades of Scotch Brite pads.

It’s a pretty good tool that I like a lot. I use the coarse stone as opposed to the medium one shown to put a spring structure on. I also have a similar ski visions tool that has a magnetized slot that holds a flat file that can take some material off the base edges as well as pretty aggressively take ptex off. Kind of a poor man’s stone grind. Edited February 21, 2023 by C1erArt
