Truth..the one year in JH we had 7 people.

Bah!  We had 8 up in Canada and never had a problem.
We would just agree on the next lift to head to and everyone either skied together or went their own way and met at the lift.

Numbering the chairs is genius. Makes it much less confusing.

We give them our own names, like at Blue: OG6, couch, loser...

Yeah, but there’s only 3 lifts at Blue. 4 if you count Vista.

Revelstoke and Kicking Horse only have 4 lifts each and some of them weren't even worth riding as they only served beginner terrain.

Siblet was just at Kicking Horse. The place looked huge. They did a lot of hiking. Gorgeous pics.

It is huge and lacking in lifts to get to the goods, so hiking's a must.  I'm sure the locals like it that way.
Talking with Revelstoke "locals" on the lift, they don't like the idea of the new lift taking people to the top as it's going to dump all the wannabes up there who refuse to make the hike now.

Does it ever NOT snow at Whitefish??? lol

We get little bits maybe 5 out of 7 days a week. Big dumps are unusual. The bigger point is, bring your flat light goggles. Sunny days are a gift.

We only had one beautiful blue sky day when we were there. That being said, I can’t complain. Had one day when it was too foggy to venture to the top, stayed on the lower lifts. Had some fresh snow 2 days, not too deep between 6-8 inches depending on where you were. Lots of untracked, but not so deep you were struggling or had to rent wider skis.

No RFID here. Real lifties using scanners and generally being friendly to everyone. You know. How it used to be before you were just a number. They actually address you by name occasionally.
