The coldest periods will be early December, late January, and mid- to late February. The snowiest periods will be in early and late January and in February in the south. April will be colder than normal, while May will be warmer. Both April and May will have above-normal precipitation. Summer temperatures will be above normal, on average, while precipitation will be below normal. The hottest period will be in mid-July.
