Is uphill travel relatively new there or have they always allowed it? I don’t ever remember seeing anyone doing it in my years as a passholder. Quote
mgguy Posted February 13 Author Report Posted February 13 Over the years there have been a few up-hilling it. We were told as long as they have a lift ticket they are good to go. 1 Quote
PSUFrankenstein Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Spent a valentine's day evening with @Mixilplix...conditions on some trails were good, others were icy. Timberline was fun...not crowded at all 3 Quote

Mixilplix Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 Really good conditions at BC tonight....They produced some product last night,so there were some decent sized piles here and there...and It's kinda cool they let you ride on them while they drain....Big school night...Couple of times the line stretched..Even the stoner college kids runnin the lift were helping fill chairs....Coverage wise they are back in the game for a lil while...But still need to do some work here and there for a solid base...Fun evening.. 7 1 Quote

mgguy Posted February 17 Author Report Posted February 17 Reports of 11" knee deep western style powder. Reports come from friends that are regulars in UT and CO every year. One guy commented it was as good as anything out west he has seen. last time BC saw snow like this was probably about 17 or 18 years ago. And yes, it got very crowded today- all lots filled. 2 Quote

Popular Post antman12 Posted February 18 Popular Post Report Posted February 18 (edited) Yesterday morning was the single best hour ive had at BC. Left extra early not knowing the road conditions and quickly realized they were simply wet so I arrived in the lot about 45 minutes before opening and was the 2nd non worker there lol. First in line at about 805 and hung out with some others till rope drop. My plan was to hit E lift so I could beat everybody else to F lift and get untrack Sasquatch. As I got to E lift I was told F lift was closed. So I took a run down and back to E lift and by this time F lift was open so I shot down there and was still one of the first people down Sassy. Single best run Ive ever had at BC. After that I hiked back over to F lift so I could hit Extreme which was simply incredible. Back up E lift, down to F lift and took another run down Sasquach. By this point both trails were basically tracked out so I spent the next 90 minutes enjoying the mountain. Simply amazing morning. Edited February 18 by antman12 9 1 1 1 Quote

Mixilplix Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Some nice fast snow at the BC tonight...Rode for about an hour and a half...Not a lot of people there...I bounced at 6:15 and the parking lot looked like it was filling up....They got some good coverage from the past storms...and it looks like they are making snow...Was a fun evening session.... 6 1 Quote
Mixilplix Posted February 27 Report Posted February 27 Killer spring conditions at BC late afternoon....Snow was just buttery smooth...but firm enough that it didn't get all shredded up...Zero to hero in one lap....Place was pretty ghosted..... 4 Quote
AirheadD8 Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 3/5/25 Robins and Running water. Bought a Flashback day ticket but didn’t get there till after 4:15 , too late for any contest. My old stretch pants are very absorbent “ Vintage 1982 “ I did get some laughs from some of the older employees. I’m amazed I could barely still fit on the last clip. Skied my old Kneisel magic star skis. One run and done, just to skinny for the slush. Looks bleak, F lift side is clinging. I got a run down the last 3’ wide strip on Sasquatch . Skied nicely considering. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 Way to get after it, they’re open Blues not..what year are the vintage skis you were on and what length? Quote

Kneisel Magic star . 82/63/76 180 s I haven’t been able to find much information on them. I found them at a yard sale 15yrs ago $15.00 still in plastic. I mounted some old tyrolia 350’s . There’s hardly a scratch on them. I’ve only skied on them three or four times. 1 Quote
