First time at Stratton for a quick trip and really, really enjoyed it. It was fun to rip groomers with some decent vert and great grooming. Had a blast and look forward to getting back there again thanks to this lovely new Ikon pass.

Stratton will always hold a special place in my heart. It was my first “big mountain” trip a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. I remember seeing it on the road as you approach the mountain thinking holy shit this place looks massive.

really thinking hard on getting an ikon pass next year.

If you get an Ikon base plus or full ikon you can come visit me and ski Aspen next year with Dan.  Just sayin….

Idk....just don't know if I'm going to get the full value out of it. I know I'm going to Arizona per the usual next year, and probably every year until we eventually get there permanently. Also know that next year we're planning a western camping trip in Utah, Wyoming and CO. If blue had more days on it I would've purchased it by now.

I drove up this morning..  honestly had no idea they got as much snow as reported.  MT is reporting 28".... Boy I wish is had a different board with me, my powder boards are at home.  The first couple runs were a blast, but oohh soo much work!

Nice report, don’t you follow the weather?

I had looked earlier in the week and saw some snow, but it looked like it was mostly northern VT

I was planning to just go to Blue on Sunday, but made a late switch Saturday night and never looked back at the weather.
