JFskiDan Posted November 10 Report Posted November 10 Tactical Tim was on location today. I tried to drop my skis off for a tune today. but i couldnt, because their system was down, and they couldnt take payment, and they need to take payment before they can send the skis to the back. as much as i like the place, its like they go out of their way to not make money. so, pretty much a typical day at Blue Mountain. 1 1 Quote

Pretty sure their POS (no pun intended) is lightspeed. It is the worst and yes, i have first hand experience. I cannot believe blue is still using them. They have been using that merchant for at least three years. Quote
enjoralas Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Also funny, because at least in season, they would always ask me if I wanted to pay when I dropped them or picked them up. 1 Quote

But i guess they dont have a good system for when people have paid, so now maybe they just do upfront payment. Quote

As much as i cannot stand driving 6 hrs for limited early season terrain with 6000 of my closest friends, it might be something to keep in mind for Thanksgiving weekend. 5 Quote
enjoralas Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 I'm keeping my faith in the extended forecast on Accuweather being right, moving a few degrees colder overnight, and then getting that extra couple degrees or whatever that Blue seemed to have every time last year, making snow even when the numbers looked marginal. In the app on my phone right now Palmerton is showing overnight lows from Sun 11/24 through T-giving of 35, 33, 31, 30, 27. Seemed like they made snow alot of nights last year when that same source showed overnight temps of 29 -32, so I still have my fingers crossed! 4 Quote

Is it almost time to play ski? I haven't been paying attention. Maybe I'll go to Big Snow Mountain in Dirty Jersey soon and then ski at Blue Mountain in a coupl'a two or tree months. Quote

I think my Blue mountain season pass is finally paid off so it will scan perfect on day one. People are talking about needing to turn on the heat and when the heat is on and when the heat is on The heat is on On the street Inside your head On every beat And the beat's so loud Deep inside The pressure's high Just to stay alive 'Cause the heat is on (whoo!) 1 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 Killington opened the other day and a few in line for opening gondola skied all 189 days they operated last season. That’s so legit but they never travelled anywhere or had a day they didn’t feel like skiing in the rain or still drunk in the morning from party rocking or still awake in the morning from party rocking wow Quote
Ski2Live Live2Ski Posted November 16 Report Posted November 16 No lines at Belleayre and real nice conditions on both runs to start. Got 12 runs in then was getting a bit scraped. Quote
