mute1080 Posted November 21, 2024 Report Posted November 21, 2024 Going to Boise during Christmas break and planning on skiing Bogus Basin and Tamarack. Anyone have info on either place? I don't see any trip reports or the mountains listed on the skiing stats so I might be the first PASR 6 Quote

momskeeztoo Posted Saturday at 07:50 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:50 PM Yeah, saw their stock is losing money. Seriously, just pay your workers a living wage. Ski patrollers in these areas have a lot of responsibility. It takes a lot of practice and education. I feel bad for anyone injured there. 1 Quote

All they want is $23 vs $21 starting and $2 an hour increases above and I believe $1600 equipment reimbursement and a few other things. Park city had 20% other terrain open while deer valley next door had 69% of their terrain open. https://x.com/liftblog/status/1874994887512482054?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1874994887512482054|twgr^302421c5d28fb51337b5462c45c22a95a68803ac|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ffortune.com%2F2025%2F01%2F03%2Fpark-city-utah-skiing-ski-patrol-strikes-long-lines-explained-vail-resorts%2F Quote
momskeeztoo Posted Saturday at 08:05 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:05 PM I was talking to a patroller that works at an unnamed Vail resort here. They said they were “borrowing” ski patrollers from other resorts for resorts out west. I just wondered how that could possibly even compare… Quote
