Going to Boise during Christmas break and planning on skiing Bogus Basin and Tamarack. Anyone have info on either place? I don't see any trip reports or the mountains listed on the skiing stats so I might be the first PASR

Ouch, crashed near end of second run. Nothing broken or torn apparently, but return tbd. Some road rash though.

Puncture wound on abdomen and muscle damage. Looks like her season is over.

Ouch. Muscle damage may take awhile to heal. I wonder how deep the puncture wound was.

Yeah, saw their stock is losing money. Seriously, just pay your workers a living  wage. Ski patrollers in these areas have a lot of responsibility. It takes a lot of practice and education. 
I feel bad for anyone injured there.

All they want is $23 vs $21 starting and $2 an hour increases above and I believe $1600 equipment reimbursement and a few other things.  Park city had 20% other terrain open while deer valley next door had 69% of their terrain open.

I was talking to a patroller that works at an unnamed Vail resort here. They said they were “borrowing” ski patrollers from other resorts for resorts out west. I just wondered how that could possibly even compare…
