I have connections and can hook you up with a backstage VIP pass to meet the band and get autographs. I heard the VIP package might even include a coupon for half off a mini cookie on a Frontier Airlines flight that is good through the rest of this weekend.

@TT C6 is interested.

Was he at Blue Mountain today? The guy with the Eagles hat who laughed at my very funny jokes? I think there were 2 or 3 OG PASRs there today that I haven't met. I need to expand my taxidermied squirrels collection of my favorite PASRs

When are y’all gonna start money for shows?  I guess it’s an improvement from the early days of the Beagles featuring Joy when you had to pay people to attend.

I’m happy that we get paid and the audience doesn’t have to pay. If you would be happy paying something to atttnd you could slide me a buddy pass

I think GrilledSteeze has 2 buddy passes this year. He's saving one for @Zonked so I think he has a spare one for you

728 streams from 387 listeners in first 12 days

thanks to all for their support as we approach our 1000+ goal

just listen to it once per run and we will get there in no time

How much money does 1,000 plays equal?  Is it just this one song or the entire album.  You won’t get a listen from me.  I just do YouTube on phone and Sirius in car.

No appreciable money. It just gets you some respect as you then have the number of plays reported on the app instead of “< 1000”

you can also help get us up from our current 128 on YouTube. Or request plays on your favorite Sirius XM channel

Seems like a waste if it’s only to stroke your ego…hard pass

Does Spotify have some way of discerning new plays vs total plays or could you theoretically put the album on repeat on an old device and let it rip 24/7 to increase plays and $?

I think they limit plays from a single device or account that will show in your play counter, and may sometimes  take down songs if they see evidence of illegitimate plays like that - but they do have to provide payment for all plays. Though per play payment is infinitesmal.

For most it is really about getting one’s music out there and heard and getting attention which can lead to better gigs and other ways to monetize. One has to be huge to make back recording and promoting costs from streaming.

Let’s hope one of the big record executives in Nashville or LA hear y’all and offer you a deal.  They say if you buy a second hand guitar you’ll go far.
