GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted Sunday at 04:30 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:30 PM Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 721am and it was about 12 degrees with light to moderate winds. In the house were everybody except Noxidee, Ski999 and Antman and No Matt Edge either. First civilian OG six pack to razors which had nice snow but all of us had snow coated to our goggles from the guns on challenge. Once again Main Street top to bottom was the ROTD..it was like a western groomer. Paradise was good until the bottom section which was slick, a lot of snowmaking blow over from nightmare to dreamweaver. Lazy to the falls was also good. The last run I followed BenM on Come around to connector to Curzis to midway to middle gap to yeti to burma to shuttle to lower park. It was exhilerating and crowded. I hungout in the lot a little and had beer and cheeseballs and now at work counting money, then Xmas shopping and pizza eating on deck and also THC experiments on myself. Ski some of yall on the 26th JADIP 8 Quote
Popular Post RidgeRacer Posted Sunday at 05:41 PM Popular Post Report Posted Sunday at 05:41 PM (edited) The air was cold, the latte was hot and the conditions were excellent! Great day in fact great weekend at Blue. I don't recall being this stoked on Main Street in a while. Barney's groomer was so $$ and that first run on razors was what you wait all summer for. Blue should have a great holiday week conditions wise with the forecast. Edited Sunday at 05:42 PM by RidgeRacer 9 1 Quote

indiggio Posted Sunday at 09:18 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:18 PM Of course, for some unknown reason(s), the quad is back down as of about 10:15am. With it being down, the lines on the other lifts elongated. Thanks Blue for the VIP lines! Surprised to see the guns firing on Challenge when I arrived and also a bunch of big whales on Switchback! 2 Quote
JFskiDan Posted Sunday at 09:34 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:34 PM Great weekend. One might think we could see nmdw and challenge for next weekend. That would be pretty sweet. Switch had some decent snowmaking up top, but nothing lower down. All in all, we are in such better shape than we were last year. 3 Quote
Mixilplix Posted Sunday at 11:57 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:57 PM Felt like real skiing/riding this weekend...Early open throttle runs down MS were a blast...Here is a pic from this time last year.. 2 2 Quote

Ahh the skid mark, if I recall it got bigger until there was an isthmus and then finally it got colder. I think it's one of the best starts ever, Razors pre Christmas and with temps tonight we should get some big ass piles. Today was le tits, cold but with the sun and no wind it was comfortable and the snow was super good on main and pretty good everywhere else. It did get crowded fast and further proof they need the quad running to thin the herds. 2 1 Quote

And there wasnt an inch of snow on the lower part of switch sunday. Is bumblebee bowl one of the 8 remaining trails to open? I do always get a kick out of the fact they put some bumps on an open, existing trail, and that magically turns into another trail to up the trail count. I still think they should let chute bump up occasionally. 2 Quote
