cjwill27 Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 Took my 7 year old out for a couple hours yesterday (our third outing together this year after he broke his leg at Spring Mountain last year doing the Sunday night learn to ski program; result of being mismatched with a more advanced group and shitty rental bindings that didn't release). Conditions were great and place was empty until ski clubs started busing in around 4. Warmed up on Broadway to work on some turns and then lapped Timberline/Kodiak until he worked up the courage to give his first black run a go (Bear Trap, great success). Lifties were rocking out to 1/2/16 Phish @ MSG so all around a nice afternoon. Enjoyed some tasty wings before we headed home and got to people watch the most awkward table of high school boys ignore each other for an entire meal. 6 Quote

EdBacon Posted February 14 Report Posted February 14 When I was in high school we used to crash the restaurant all the time. Prices weren't that much different from the cafeteria and sometimes it was so crowded that was the only place to find a place to sit. Quote

This morning at 10:20am the cocktail cart was open at Blue mountain and was tempted to get a Bloody Mary but $15 could be better spent on some Uber eats appetizer..can’t have it all sorry for threadjack…big props to your son for getting back after it after last season.
