I get there all excited for First tracks at 730am. Suddenly season pass (A Blue pass with Camelback add on) no longer works. After 3 trips to guest services I left and went to Jack Frost. What a freakin joke!!!

Guest services couldn't fix the pass but at least they offered me a day pass to ski with the masses at 8:30. Screw that, I left and was on the snow at Jack Frost at 8:20 and I now I have 20 minutes less on my drive home. I think Camelwhack should be able to fix their "Peak to Peak" pass when it doesn't work instead of wasting my precious one hour of First tracks that I got up at 5:50 am to do to avoid standing in their long lines. What a Circus!!! 🎪 🤡

When I went to activate mine at the end of November they told me they couldn't put entitlements on my Blue pass and had.to issue me one of their cards. They had to go look me up manually too, because it was a peak to peak paid for at Blue so wasn't in their system

Of course, I haven't used it yet, so chances are mine won't work either

For me it's even more ridiculous that it worked perfectly fine on 1/5/25, but today it doesn't, and they couldn't fix it after 3 tries of walking back and forth between the gate and guest services. Who ever heard of such BS?

So it seems like they know it should work…wouldn’t any competent employee get a manager to just get you a day pass? I went to a resort a few years back and reloaded my rfid card online. It didn’t work when I got there and couldn’t get the sale to show on their end. I showed them my email receipt and they just gave me a day pass.

I guess I meant some sort of pass that would work. There’s no way there wasn’t something that could be done.

Correct. They offered me a day pass to stand around and twiddle my thumbs waiting until 8:30 with the masses of people, when I specifically got there for 7:15 to avoid that shit. Screw that, I left and had more fun at Jack Frost and was on the snow there by 8:20. That one hour of crowd free skiing is precious, especially on the busiest weekend of the year, and to miss it due to their incompetency was very aggravating.

I would have redeemed one of my buddy passes for myself. Word is they get season pass gate access, so should have worked for first tracks too

To be fair, the front desk people offered a day pass starting at 830 which I could have done, but I just can't stand wasting my time waiting around due to their system being broken, out of principle. It wasn't the workers' fault, it's whoever designed this stupid "multi mountain pass" system. Imagine showing up to Vail and they say "sorry folks, you have to check with the Jack Frost people to fix your pass".
