GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted Sunday at 05:50 PM Report Posted Sunday at 05:50 PM Hey all I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 720am and it was cloudy and in the low 30s. In the house was everybody but salty schif, Nancy, toast and Matt edge. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was nice a little rolly Polly in the middle I even heard creamy mentioned. Challenge was good enough for a repeat then sidewinder which was real nice. Main Street was nice especially on the top and switchback was decent, a few slick spots. Coming soon was ok, I heard lazy Mile was bad and cookied up but didn’t ski it. Repeats were made on challenge, Main Street, and sidewinder, sidewinder got a little choppy but not bad. Crowds were slightly less than peak, couple minute waits were the norm. Fun parking lot with beers, snacks, sausage, steak and pork loin. Easy drive back to the A with barely any cars on the road. Looks like we might get a couple inches of snow. JADIP 4 1 1 1 Quote
Popular Post Johnny Law Posted Sunday at 06:58 PM Popular Post Report Posted Sunday at 06:58 PM All the trucks are at home, best drive in a decade at least. Much better day than I maybe thought, crowds were very low for a Sunday and the snow was good even when it got ratty. I don't fuck with lazy so only thing I thought that was not good was nmdw. The features aren't as bad as in the past and I think we'll figure out a good path but too many cookies. Super props to enjo for cooking, no matter the conditions that makes for a most excellent day and those shrimp ! Special shout out to little boo, one for hooking me up with cookies and two for an incident with a boarder. I hope she wrangled something good out of you Mute for that one. 9 1 Quote
PSUFrankenstein Posted Sunday at 07:45 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:45 PM Lines weren't nearly as bad as expected today. Found a few slick spots on the way home but for the most part, roads were fine and empty. Sunday feast was delicious as usual. Lazy wasn't great today...all other trails i hit were good 2 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM Report Posted Sunday at 08:55 PM (edited) Those first sidewinder runs were perfection. So good that everything after that was a bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong it was good all things considered but those first runs are why you get in line at 740 am. Fun quick session for me. It's coming down hard outside. Tomorrow will be a good one Edited Sunday at 08:55 PM by RidgeRacer 4 Quote

Dom and i took a spin down NMDW as well, and i concur with what you said. the jumps arent fucking up the run nearly as bad as in the past. i was however a little shy around the last turn thinking there would be something dumb there that i wouldnt be able to see in time. When we started down NM, it wasnt to bad, but then just got progressively worse as the run went on. Get this - @RidgeRacer gave NMDW lower marks than i did. 2 2 Quote

Mixilplix Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Today was good..Although I thought yesterday the snow was a bit faster and held up a little better...First run down NMDW was a mistake...Put a little too much faith into Blues grooming...No Lazy but all the other players were fine... Enjo gets my vote for league MVP... 2 Quote

If it's the shit I just go straight at the bridge and it's like 10 min longer but zero effort required. 1 Quote
Boo Bear Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Becky boo said her first (and hopefully last) toboggan ride was "so cool." From what her instructor said a boarder was out of control and basically plowed into her on switchback. After some theatrics (and some tasty treats from Enjo's grill), she was jumping around the house in no time. Girlfriend earned a coconut gelati for being a trooper through it all. Before the exitement at the end of the day I enjoyed main street as my ROTD. Edited 13 hours ago by Boo Bear 7 2 2 Quote
momskeeztoo Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Glad she’s ok. Nothing is scarier than your kid needing a toboggan ride down the mountain. Quote
