RidgeRacer Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 If KSL is pulling out then I don’t see any of this happening…unless one of the big players purchases it. Quote

Not sure but it's been floating around Camelback as well, at least according to the one Facebook page of Camelback fans. That they are looking to sell both mountains Quote
indiggio Posted February 12 Report Posted February 12 Briefly looking at the various KSL resorts on their website, Blue seems to be one of or maybe the only without a hotel, plus they don't seem to have many snow destinations either. Might make sense for them to dump the winter ones, save Deer Park, and just concentrate on warm weather ones? Quote

I can't even see how to could go around it. They got all of that planned out but still wont fix the intersection at the bottom of main street. 4 Quote

They keep putting the slow signs closer and closer to each other on lower main. And half the people actually slow up there which makes it more of a clusterfuck 2 Quote

They should move that patrol building and the beginner area and let main street and burma flow to the valley. 2 Quote

They should move that patrol building and the beginner area and let main street and burma flow to the valley. In my passholder survey I railed against that intersection a bit. I suggested that in the short term they should pull down the building and terrace Burma into the hillside above the learning area, pull out a small amount of trees and carry it over to Barb's Way. Not real great though, because even if they put up the large amount of fencing needed between shuttle and the new terraced area, the chucklheads that ski Blue will still crash the netting and fall down it. On busy weekend days where it's crazy crowded (and lower Sidewinder isn't closed) they could close down the last bit of Lazy Mile and force Lazy skiers to Lower SW or Falls to help ease the three way intersection. But that probably just shifts the issue to the bit at the bottom of Sidewinder. The rumored move of tubing leading to the move of learning area leading to the continuation of trails down that way really is the answer, but it's certainly not short term. 2 Quote

Im at Killington today and we got a solid 6” of wet snow but zero lines ride onto any lift and fresh tracks all day in the woods. Copper Killy today 3 Quote
