Hey All,

I’m back from another short morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain.  There was a solid inch of new snow on the west side of Allentown and about a dusting new at Blue.  It was overcast and in the upper 20s with light winds.  In the house were Atomic Jeff, Johnny Law, Laws brother, C1er, Bethlehem ford crew and Jeff’s friend Nick.

Second civilian super summit safari six pack, atomic Jeff managed first chair…Main street was a nice carpet of machine groomed packed sugar…lipstick on a pig but great initially.  Up the quad and challenge was very nice a little firmer.  I skied the three times in a row then back to Main Street which was mad sweet and low.  Coming soon was not that good, cookies and crunchy…

I went back to Challenge and a lot of the cookies below had emerged, amazing how much conditions change in an hour.  I ended my session on razors which was pretty nice and scored some fresh cord on Razerback. All in all a nice session but I wish they ran the OG six pack during the week.  JADIP

I was out out at 7 and cleared my wife’s car off with the leaf blower got a decent 2 inches as soon as I shut the leaf blower off, I lost footing and went down on my chest. After plowing, I threw the chains in my van and walking through my backyard my feet went out then I went down on my back, lots of ice lurking beneath . I managed to get out on the first try and was debating about going skiing or going to work, but the steering wheel wouldn’t turn in the direction of work so I ended up at blue a little bit disappointed at the little snow that had fallen. Got there late 10 AM And skied to 11 things were much better than I expected , fast cream cheese , Main Street was still in good shape so I hung there and skied sleepy Hollow Glade, a few times even though it was a bit scratchy.

The first few I thought were super dope soft and effortless. It all came apart fast but for the most part it was still pretty good once it got all scrambly.

It does suck most of the snow was south of blue but compared to previous seasons just the idea of plausible snow get my motor going and it does improve general vibe.

I heard like a 45 second long cowbell by the west Chester guys. One of them was complimenting my skis which somehow are sticky and top sheet been feeling since last season.

So I guess only shop employees demo the skis to see what they wanna buy for next season.  Mark the one guy who’s skied with us lately was at the Armada tent and he’s been all over the northeast…

What were they feeling?  Was Matt Edge involved?
