Johnny Law Posted February 13 Report Posted February 13 As always with blue every forecast and radar showed the rain should end at 9 but it was still coming down pretty good when the lifts started. Absolutely no one home, the only other non employee in the lower lot was one of the BFG crew. I counted 8 people in total though I'm sure I missed a couple. The snow was perfect hero snow on the main st side. The trails were absolutely empty and grip was infinite. Put the hammer all the way down and let the dogs run, there wasn't even anyone to look out for. This was imperative as you couldn't see dick, between the rain and fog it was double swipe conditions down the hill and you still couldn't see anything expect white and non-white. The razors side was nearly as good but with some harder snow up top and spots around. Coming Soon still sucks and the challenge booter is deadly in poor vis but it mattered not. Hammer down and let them go. The rain slowed down around 1030 but I was wet and called it. Would have been hyper nice if I got the timing right but the rain just holds at blue forever. 6 Quote

Good report of conditions. Just one other person at the quad with me at rope drop. Started with Paradise as usual to be sure my knees were still working. The approach to Razors was a little hard, but once on the slope it was grippy except for some groomer cookies at the bottom of the head wall which were completely invisible. Top of TCS was pretty frozen, but the slope wasn’t too bad. After a couple of runs on razors, headed over to the main street lift and saw J Law cruising down lower Main. Main Street was pretty nice, but Switch was superb. After a few runs went back to Razors. Switched over to my Head Kores today, which was a good call. I must have looked like a drowned rat changing out of my boots in the lodge. People were starting to arrive and there was even a bus in the lot. After the first ride up I didn’t have to share a chair or even share a slope. 3 Quote

I looked at regular time and saw absolutely no one in line so I waited until the last second but it's funny like a dozen people there and I never ran into you. Quote
