I believe she needs a separate account with her own email address. Then you would just transfer it from your account to her account. From there she should be able to redeem it. That said that process was glitchy up until like January. Not sure if they fixed it or not

How do you use your gift card towards your new pass?

I think you can use unused previous years gift cards towards current pass purchase. I haven’t done before…I have fits going into my blue account has two of my names..one last name first and guy I emailed buddy pass to like three years ago.

I renewed my pass at Valley guest service. They needed to see the email with the coupon. They entered some numbers and they took it off the cost of the pass.

Jeff says the buddy passes will carry over.  But, many times a season pass renewal renders your pass ineffective, so i would be like a little hesitant that they would disappear as well.  I know you wont be at Blue between now and the renewal date, but i went to guest services and turned my 2 buddy passes into RFID cards that i just then gave to the recipients.

Vail released Epic pricing for next season. The full Epic Pass is now $1051. The NE Value Pass is starting at $642.

Looks like prices are up 7% from last year.

These are early bird rates.

7% is prob less than current inflation. Not a bad increase.  I didn’t release the epic pass is less than Ikon. I remember full Ikon being about 12-1300

Inflation was 2.9 percent for 2024, and is currently at a 3.1 percent rate.

Not buying it not for the average everyday person.  I feel like the cost of operating a ski resort has gone up more than 3% as well unless you’re Blue and you send your snowmakers off to camelback…merging ski resorts actually lowers costs because it creates economies of scale….Park city was able to operate during the Ski Patrollers strike because they brought in Scabs from other resorts…

so radical patrollers from Big Boulder and Mount Snow could help avy bomb the Upper Left Scooch Prima Pineda Cornice to get the Outer Pluto Black hole pod open allowing access to the Heinous spigot spider monkey glades only accessed from the tower three Cyrus spruce dandelion dirty sanchez chutes @Johnny Law and @theprogram4 know park city well all the nooks and crannies and I might be going out on a limb here but it’s the crown jewel of the Epicski empire and where I wanna be…free parking is only a standup gondola away and I think @saltyant was there and it was radical.

Also $699 for blue pass is a bargain once the price goes over $1,000 in about 2035 if inflation can keep this 3% we will either be space cowboys or hanging with that runaround Sue chick or using the chine Yuan as FIAT currency…so just gotta enjoy todays low prices.

Available March 13

Correct but will the base plus be an option? All I see them advertising for 25/26 on the site (unless I’m missing something) is the regular, the base and 4 pack.

My guess is they haven’t listed yet and will be available but I guess there’s a chance they discontinued that option.  Already thinking about Jackson hole for next season??

You have no choice to think about next year with all of the early pass stuff. Likely passing on icon. Especially if there's no base plus. If I go to Jackson I'll look for tix direct from them

I'm debating passes. On one hand a trip to Colorado including Breck/Vail/Beaver Creek/Loveland would be fantastic, but the Utah are lacking on Epic. Ikon would get me back to the Bird, and the options in UT are all really solid in addition to that.

I don't know what the day rate is at Jackson but full ikon it's 5 days at any of the big dogs. At DV with a renewal it's more like 4.3.

Not saying shit just that even full ikon is super easy to break even if your going certain places.

One thing i found out is there are alot of discounts on lodging with the Ikon pass.  Many hotels at JH participated, the 49'er was 15% off, so keep that in the back of your mind as well.  thats a value that should be looked at too with the pass.  I think that saved me at least $200 at JH.

Looks like now the base pass includes 5 days at almost all resorts that base pass plus did with black out dates. Exceptions are Aspen and JH. Originally, I do not believe just the base pass had this option. My friends and I have been chatting about it, since they need Aspen when they come visit me.

Right. Which sorta has me thinking that base plus is gone. From what I can see (as of now) it appears that if you want JH or Aspen you need the full.
