Folks really think they are gonna open Sat for bragging rights even with heavy rain in forecast. Maybe Vista only to say they were open and lose less money - gotta be easiest to keep some snow at the top too

Interesting. Lift Tickets were definitely there as a category at about 9:30 am today. I checked Saturday, it was $35 without even having to put anything in about having a pass.

Gone now? Probably not a good sign.

Hunter still claiming they will be open this weekend for those with a yen to ski in the rain without driving to VT

Forecast for both days on their site is for scattered thunderstorms

Froday forecast looks promising though - best option for skiing within a couple hundred miles of PA

'belle is *planning* on being open Fri-Sun and the weekend of the 12-13th

At least I had an awesome last day at blue although I would of liked to have bashed a few slush bumps last weekend

I stood at the top of the Falls after my last run on Sunday, a great run down Lazy with no one else around, and great snow, edge to edge coverage which is unheard of for last weekend in March, and I really wanted to take a couple more runs. But then I thought, you know, if that was the last run of my Blue Mountain season, I can live with that memory until November.

No regerts.

JLaw you’re a real one..you’re part of the glue that bonds together our row at Blue and PASR and you show up mad early most days and can relate or at least listen to my Doug Lyfe problems..if you wind up with a statue or bronze plaque or some additional Mountain Dew code red or some steezy iced tea from Whole Foods or Fresh Market, it’s cause the stoke marketing is rising.

Always a pleasure skiing with JLaw..and even on the days I miss, C1er often takes shots of him skiing from the lift..

I love a good Doug lyfe story, its like a zen philosophy.

I'm not surprised they are closed but that sucks hairy ballsack.....I think if they want to go late late you either need cooperative weather or like superstar kinda depth

Superstar lift closes on the 13, wonder if they’re going to try to keep superstar open past that? Doesn’t look like the usual glacier they have this time of year on the webcam.

They’re replacing the superstar chair and focusing their late spring skiing in the canyon.  Kyle have you skied since you moved to Virginia?

Not in the last two years. Put the ski budget towards golf, play that year round. I have thought about going out to snowshoe or massanutten but those plans never came to fruition.

Late season this year is dipper which will at least be new.  Superstar lift was 87 I think which is old even for a blue chair.
