Timeless Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Check out the daily pics on the CB website. Is that a huge wall ride, or just a screen to hide all you ugly park rats.... How come none of you "CB insiders" knows anything... Quote
Papasteeze Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 How come none of you "CB insiders" knows anything... Because they enjoy annoying us as much as we enjoy wondering why they do things the way they do.. Rising Into the Air: What are they building? Don't go climbing the walls trying to figure this one out?we'll tell you soon enough. Quote
Luke Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) That definitelly looks like one. That's kind of an odd place to put it though (it looks like the entrance of the park). It's probably just a big a$$ bulleting/information board lol. Hmmm, I'm all excited now. Hurry up winter. Edited November 10, 2005 by Luke Quote
Glenn Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Advertisement billboard right in the middle of meadows.... Could be a wall ride. I wouldn't be surprised if its a warning sign for the park. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just advertisment space either. Quote
ben Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Of course, a warning sign or advertisement could always double as a wall ride... Quote
Timeless Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Posted November 10, 2005 Advertisement billboard right in the middle of meadows.... Just think how ironic it would be, a large "slow skiing" sign or safety warning for all the noobs to crash into. Maybe it's advertising for the new camelbeach rides. Maybe it's part of a new camelbeach ride..... scrap the terrain park, add more water-features. Quote
stevePSSC Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 im gonna have to go ahead and add my 2 cents.. and say that... its gotta be a wallride i mean its at the bottom of the trail.. not the enterance.. if you look on the cb site on daily pics the other angle cleary shows its down right past where the hippo was anywho it has to be a wallride haha Quote
Stevo Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 If it is a wallride, why are they making it permanent? That just limits their terrain park setup possibilities even more. Quote
Shadows Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 that is nuts. haha. huge step for CB here. now the only thing they need to do is keep little kids from washing out the transition. Quote
VTmark Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 If it is a wallride, why are they making it permanent? That just limits their terrain park setup possibilities even more. BC's is permient Quote
Stevo Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 that is nuts. haha. huge step for CB here. now the only thing they need to do is keep little kids from washing out the transition. ......which will never happen Quote

It just looked a little high to me to be at the bottom. It's probably like half way or 3/4 of the way down. Awsome. Edited November 10, 2005 by Luke Quote
Luke Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 I don't think they would really mess them up that much. Definitelly not as much as a rail. Maybe more like a box. Quote
Timeless Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Posted November 10, 2005 That looks alot higher than the wall ride they had last season at Blue mountain. Do wall rides screw your skis up like rails? only if you ride straight into them.... Quote
LineSki Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Wow I am really happy right now, this just made my day. I just hope its not set up diagonly but like facing you when your looking straight down the trail. Quote
Timeless Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Posted November 10, 2005 Trust me, it's a wall ride. Maybe it's a multi-media / sound unit that will play non-stop ski/snowboard vid's and live shots from thr park. Wow I am really happy right now, this just made my day. I just hope its not set up diagonly but like facing you when your looking straight down the trail. Nope, it's set up straight down the hill, parallel to the slope. Quote
Luke Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 It definitelly does not look like it's straight downhill. It's probably at an agle. Hard to tell from the pictures. Quote
Schif Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 only if you ride straight into them.... Which is what happened to me the first and only time I tried the one at blue.... Quote
LineSki Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 yeah im pretty sure its at an angle Quote
skidude Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Which is what happened to me the first and only time I tried the one at blue.... I was just looking at the other picture, thinking how much that is going to hurt when someone hits it. The metal posts behind it don't look like there moving. But my money is on a wallride too Quote
lastduchess113 Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 It's a wall.... I don't even have to look at the pictures. Why else would they use a cheesy phrase like "don't go climbing walls trying to figure it out." ???? Answer... even CB is not that cheesy... it was some PR guys way of saying this is what it is, while his boss was looking over his shoulder telling him not to tell us yet. Quote
LineSki Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 yeah no doubt that it is one. Better know how to ride one your going to get messed up. Quote
steezy Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 yeah no doubt that it is one. Better know how to ride one your going to get messed up. how do you ride one ?? Quote
nitromtnrep Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) I don't remember then talking about a wall ride this year. could be. but my guess is that it's a divider to block between two trails. if it s a wall ride it's in wrong. Edited November 10, 2005 by nitromtnrep Quote
