Bear Creek PR Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 (edited) Some of you may have already heard that snowtubing won't be open for another few weeks until we get the parts for our new magic carpet. So in the meantime, since we've got plently of snow in that area, it looks like there may be a new terrain park.... Edited December 11, 2005 by bearcreek_chick Quote

Papasteeze Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 thats a great idea that has been bounced around long before even this site was made! Everyone always looked at me with a blank stare when I mentioned it. Either way, I hope you guys can still pull together the 30/30/30 thing. See you soon! Quote
swdorsey Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 30/30/30 is that a code or something??? Quote
AgentRider21 Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 is this up yet? i looked on the web cam and i thought there was jumps up but its hard to tell. if their is what are the sizes? Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 30/30/30 is that a code or something??? sorta - it's a ratio of ticket sales. So Bear Creak might have riding into late Spring this season? I hope they stay open later than Blue mountain, then I can try it out. Doug - you would have fun in the park and racing the gates at NASTAR. Stay tuned, we will be heading up weeknights soon. Quote
ski_unit Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 hit them today. it seemed like they were still under construction, but the middle table was great. the last one needs a landing thats not as steep, and the first needs a better inrun. Quote
ba3320 Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Went up there tonight and I have to say that I am super impressed with bear and they've been open for 5 days. The new jump line was sick and such a good idea. I hope they dont get that tubing lift fixed. Keep up the good work Quote
BC Iron Works Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 top set is roughly, 30ft, 40ft, 53ft, i dunno bout the bottom but they are nicer, once the ryte people and alot more time is put into them it will be an awesome line! Quote
mobile chernobyl Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 The jump line is badass and just what bear creek needed! keep them as long as possible! the run in to the first jump is fine if you just keep goin after that little jump in the side park. the last one needs a little more tranny like ski_unit said, or maybe just push the top of it down the hill to shallow it out.
