Papasteeze Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 12-22 who skied at CB today? Please post your report and pics if you have them. This is a test.. Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 23, 2005 Author Report Posted December 23, 2005 Did anyone ski at CB on today, the 22nd? Quote
Glenn Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Did anyone ski at CB on today, the 22nd? Yes. I did. I'm too lazy to post daily reports. If I had a digi I wouldn't mind posting daily pics. I posted elsewhere about how the park was stepped up. I didn't ride anywhere else on the mountain today so I can't really speak to the rest. Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 23, 2005 Author Report Posted December 23, 2005 Got it, thanks! Just kinda screwing around with the CB Board folks for the fun of it.. they should be banning me any day now. hahahaa Quote

First class operation here. Somewhere between the crapiest picture of the day archive ever and the we only get 6 new posts a day but divided it into 30 sections, I realized why this website rocked! Sadly, snowboard.com died, and now theres not a damn good place left on the internet. Quote

Sadly, snowboard.com died, and now theres not a damn good place left on the internet. WOW!! Thanks for the back handed compliment! I think. My motivation for some of the posting antics is driven and refueled by several recent evnts. No worries.. Maturity is a funny word. PASR is all about having fun on the slopes. I tend to sarcastically poke fun at those who take the fun out of things. Anyone over 20 years of age going WOOOO HOOOO while flying down a snow covered slope can be construed as immature and with out class. That is a group that I am proud to be part of.. SO, please take your obviously mature classy self into the lodge and do some posing Quote
ThinkSnow Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 That really shows the maturity of the staff here at PA Ski and Ride!! Congrats. First class operation here. Eh, we're all just members, really. Somewhere between the crapiest picture of the day archive ever I just wanted to point out that the daily pics are randomly chosen from the user's submissions. It's not like we're doing this for a living and going out looking for some crazy pics. The reason for the pic of the day is to showcase a submission by one of our users. and the we only get 6 new posts a day but divided it into 30 sections, I realized why this website rocked! Actually, we have been averaging about 300 posts a day and growing at a rapid pace. Again, we're all just users. There is no business here. Noone is making money off of this site, the staff of this site's only interest is to have fun and give others a place to have fun. So, if you think this place sucks so bad, then leave.. trust me, we won't be hurt. But, if you enjoy this place, then I'm glad, and I hope you continue to enjoy it in the future! Sadly, snowboard.com died, and now theres not a damn good place left on the internet. Damn, that sucks... When we felt that way, we decided to make our own place... Maybe, since you know exactly how things should be and how to do it, you should try the same! Anyway... We just want people to have fun, bottom line. Greg Quote
skierboi Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 i skied camelback on the 22nd. i only did a couple runs since i had to get my pass photo taken overall the conditions were good, marjies though had a bunch of ice pockets, my favorite trail was def. big pocono, the whole mountain was empty wen i was there which is always a pluss Quote
Ski Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 Eh, we're all just members, really. Why are so many Mountain Creek riders such snotty b*tches? And now I've made my one XMas Eve post. Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 25, 2005 Author Report Posted December 25, 2005 Why are so many Mountain Creek riders such snotty b*tches? I dunno - join us on the 15th for PASR day, we will do an in depth analytical report... It does seem as though a few who hail MC as their home mountain come across that way on Message Boards - however we got some good apples who love MC on here too.. Anyway off topic.. The boys and I will file a xmas report later tonight. Quote
Justin Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 Rode CB 12/24, from 12 till close Weather was real nice, it was actually hot....I rode in a t-shirt the whole day. Snow was nice and slushy and soft, nice for learning some stuff. The terrain park was ok, I actually sessioned the smaller one most of the time. They had a flat box, long fat rail thing, trap, and rainbow set up, along with two tables. In the bigger run, it wasn't that great. They had a half rollercoaster box thing, a half rainbow rail with a pretty dece sized gap from the end, a c box, and two big tables. Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 26, 2005 Author Report Posted December 26, 2005 I loved the conditions today, empty slopes, waterproof gear.... Ridge called it quits after 2 hours, soaked to the bone. Nipples was done with some serious shin bang after ripping up BC yesterday.. Rhodo is open the first jump is too flat of a landing the second is okay. The wall ride looks to be a good angle.. The rain washed the snow off. Nice to see the C box up high, but it was childs play for him.. There looks to be a huge base over there, so everything should be good for tomorrow. There is still about 10 inches of natural outside the door even after all the rain.. Quote
librider Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 What about the other new box? is that up? Quote
Papasteeze Posted December 26, 2005 Author Report Posted December 26, 2005 What about the other new box? is that up? The C box? We didn't go over to Laurel. Will check things out again today. Quote
Justin Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Yes the c box was up, it was pretty good. I also forgot about the wallride, that was nice aswell. CB's park was decent overall, and besides, I got invited to stay at the chalet there and ride for free for a day anyway, so it was worth it Quote
stevePSSC Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 Park Clips from CB i posted that else where but yeah thought id throw it in here as well.. both new boxes are up.. c-box and rainbow-kicker box.. i personally dont like rhodo as much as Laurel Glade park.. i would rather them make rhodo the beginner park and make Laurel the advanced one.. due to more room.. thats just my opinion and i dont really like the rainbow-kicker box at all.. then cbox is alright though Quote

Papasteeze Posted January 6, 2006 Author Report Posted January 6, 2006 Park Clips from CB i i dont really like the rainbow-kicker box at all.. then cbox is alright though I haven't heard anybody say anything good about that feature. It needs help. There is more space but rhodo is never nearly as crowded as laurel.. The park crew is trying, one of the guys even went so far as to say he rode with the groomer, "he didn't know why some of the flat landings turned out the way they did. Talk to them, they seem to listen and offer insight back. Quote
stevePSSC Posted January 6, 2006 Report Posted January 6, 2006 There is more space but rhodo is never nearly as crowded as laurel.. thats beacuse Laurel is better.. at rhodo the rainbow and hippo are soo close its hard to get speed for the hippo.. and its just real cluttered it seems.. idk just would much rather ride in laurel glade.. so i think that should be the main park and have rhodo be a beginner one so then maybe some features can be jump on.. i was impressed that the cbox is jump on Quote
LineSki Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 if they had the jumps they had in rhodo from 2 years ago, and the battleship, hippo, cbox, 40 ft, and flat and flat down boxes in there. it would be nice. Quote
stevePSSC Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 if they had the jumps they had in rhodo from 2 years ago, and the battleship, hippo, cbox, 40 ft, and flat and flat down boxes in there. it would be nice. so if they put everything they have minus the rainbow box and rail? its pretty cluttered in that park with just the -hippo -rainbow kicker box -2jump one right after another -wallride -cbox and you want all that in rhodo? ahha theres not enough room for all that.. they should put all the good/advanced stuff in Laurel and make that the advanced park.. make the jumps bigger and better so less people hit them Quote
LineSki Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 there could be enough room, just use the room at the bottom of rhodo they never really use. rhodo is bigger than laurel. Quote
