Papasteeze Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Heelys with the soap grind bar thingy are the best - Funny story, the first day of Camelback Alpine Racing Team at camelback, there is snow on the ground, but CB is not open. we have already had a weekend at Blue - the coach asks - what do you guys want to do - I yell "lets packup and ski at Blue today".. they don't think that is funny or an option. Ok - so they decide to run and hop up and down the hallway. A coach comes up to me and asks, Why did you bring your kid to practice wearing those shoes? "I take this very serious.." the coach says "I am certified Level this in and that in this and that." I figure OK let me try and get my kids in the program... "Nipples! get those rollers outa those shoes" NOPE It was Ridge! Running drills on his tip toes so he wouldn't bust his butt. Quote
librider Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I still have my soaps.. and they still fit. One time over the summer i took them to the skatepark. Fun time. Quote
Stevo Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Posted January 18, 2006 They have a day rate!! You do not have to join the whole program - Message Skier150 for more information, seems to me if you are hung up then set it up to spend a day with them.. I'm not "hung up" on them. I've done them before, but i was just looking for some tips on doing them, so i can get them looking (and feeling) better. I don't get to the mt. nearly enough though. (only every weekend), so i don't have a whole lot of time to mess with them, and was just looking for input. ya it is..and im sure its better with soap shoes. I still have my soaps.. and they still fit. One time over the summer i took them to the skatepark. Fun time. Soap shoes are the shit! I had the coolest pair, a bright blue and white pair. Haha, i still have the key for the grind plates, as well as the video that comes with them "holiday". I miss those things so bad. They were the most fun things ever Quote
