Granola Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 or is it like 10 times easy to spin on skies as opposed to a snowboard? i started trying 540s and it took me forever on a snowboard but the first one on skis i almost over-rotated it. any other skiier/snowboarder people find this to be true? method9455 Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 lower swing weight, they weight about the same but the skis have all the mass in the boot/binding while the snowboard has a massive amount out in the nose/tail, plus you have more stability coming in on skis so you can get more leverage on your spin Quote
adrian Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 i think youre right, and the fact that you already have the muscle memory on lock helps. Quote
