setagehtta Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I've been to CB hundreds of times, never to Blue. Thinking about trying Blue tomorrow...Worth it? Quote
snorovr Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Went to Camelback once and that was one time too many for me. Quote
skimom Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 The fact that this was set up on the Blue Mountain section biases the results. I prefer the snow quality of CB. And, CB is cleaner. But, I'm itching to try Blue's NASTAR. Anyone know if the ASRA dual GS will be set up as a NASTAR? Anyone going to Blue's ASRA GS? Quote

toast21602 Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Blue Mountain... the True Mountain.... Quote
Timeless Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Blue Mountain... the True Mountain.... If you like long lift lines and slow lifts... I like Blue and CB, but if I had to choose one, it would be in the pocono's. Quote
toast21602 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 If you like long lift lines and slow lifts... that only happens if you like skiing on saturday and sunday afternoons with all of New Jersey. ski early morning and it will be 10000x better. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I don't get how one could say Blue's lifts are slow? They have a high speed quad, that runs at the same speed, or faster then CBs. The doubles are for busy days, so of course those are going to be slow. I like Camelback, I really do, but I prefer Blue. When I do 20 runs at Blue, I get 21640 vertical feet. At Camelback, off the Stevenson I would need to do 28 runs to match that, or 34 runs off the Sullivan. I did 24 runs tonight, and that would be ALOT more runs at Camelback.... Quote
