Sno Mountain Skier Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 I went skiing for a couple of short runs, with no shirt on. I loved it today. I wish that Mountains could have a 1,000 inch base, and then let it be 60 for a whole month. It was just so nice outside today. But, im looking forward to the colder temps that are in the 15 day. Ski Posted January 22, 2006 Author Report Posted January 22, 2006 Ha, we were trying to figure out what the shapes from melted spots looked like. This one's sorta dinosaurish (on Highball)... Conditions were a lot like that last week before they close for the year. Still plenty of snow, but nobody skiing. Quote
boblikescats Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 don't know about you guys, but I'll take it either way. If it's cold I ski...days like today I jump on the R6 and go for a rip! Record highs or lows make me happy. Quote

romemadman Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 A ridge of high pressure will be sliding along to our south today, bringing diminishing winds in the afternoon hours. Our next system will intensify rapidly as it passes just to our south tomorrow. Look for periods of snow early tomorrow morning through about noontime, with precipitation tapering off by afternoon. Then, much more seasonable air will be in place for the end of the week. The long range into February... all indications are that it will turn cold and snowy. Although February is not here yet, current weather patterns are showing a shift toward a trough setting up over the eastern US, which is good for us in terms of cold air and possible coastal storms. that is from hunters web site hopefully they are right about the cod weather returning soon Quote
