Metz the Jersey boy Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Alright, whats up CB'ers? I was up at CB today, conditions were horrible, but hey, thats to be expected after this weather. Saw Skidude and took some laps with RAcerchick. not sure if it was him, but I thought I saw dominant from the park lift. Brought my buddy Jared up, and we had a great time! Quote

Ridge was there all day and we stopped in to make a couple of runs. I floated through the crud very Karma like with no probs Mad props to shawnee, of all places.. Holy crap, I can honestly say I had fun ripping that place up today. great conditions up until 3pm when we left. Quote
Metz the Jersey boy Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 true, edit there... i did see ridge, but I don't think anyone recognized me because i was incognito today... although I was wearing a snazzy PASR hoodie all day... I figured someone would stop me and say hi... no such luck... except for some tall kid thats really fast... Quote
skimom Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 MetzyBoy: I think I walked past the back of your head in the CB locker room - would have missed it completely except I saw a PASR hoodie while walking out with that tall kid you mentioned earlier. Maybe I'll see you there next weekend - ASRA has a hard hold on me these days, but I've only skied with CB's Master's once and still am not on the NASTAR scoreboard for the season. Quote
Metz the Jersey boy Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 Mom- Yeah, I did see you in the locker room, and I said hi, but I don't know if you heard me... at first I wasn't sure if it was you or not. Congrats on your race yesterday though! I've been a bit lax in my training this year. Finally I've started feeling confident enough to ski the whole mountain again. Unfortunately, I'm just not confident enough to really go hard on the diamonds yet... especially with the conditions we had yesterday... Hopefully next weekend we'll have a nice cover and I'll be feeling up to getting in with the masters. My skiing was sloppy at best yesterday. Well, hope to see you out there soon! Quote
skimom Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I'm not up to tough headwalls yet either. Aside from one run down Margie's, I'm still sticking to blues and greens. Ha,ha, we can both anchor the group down. Quote
Metz the Jersey boy Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 Sounds great mom, I'm looking forward to it... Yeah, for once Marjies was in the best shape of any of the blacks yesterday. I took one run down Marjies and one down The Asp. Asp was missing something, though... snow... thats what it was... it was missing snow... Quote
Papasteeze Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 I've been a bit lax in my training this year. Yeah right... I saw you training with a blonde saturday... You should read this article and get with the program!! http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbcs.dll/.../NEWS/601230316 Quote
Metz the Jersey boy Posted January 23, 2006 Author Report Posted January 23, 2006 (edited) LOL... wow, called out by the Steeze... In response, I have to say that I hope to be training with another blonde next weekend, she'll just be much older than me, married, faster than me, will have beaten me in my last race, and have a son that they call the dude... hehe Don't judge my training because I like to mix business with pleasure... Man, you never say "much older", especially if she's capable of beating you in a race. BTW, plan on being there in Feb, when do these races take place?? PAX Quote
