If your going to be an a$$ hole to people...why they going to let you stick around :lol

Either way you look at it, MRG sucks without the single, and since you can't ride that, its not worth going to...

Like I said, go make a snowboards only resort :naughty

Wow.... he'd burn the place down. Its interesting though. I can't see Montage going boards only. I can definitely see Bear Creek doing it, however. I'd hate to see that happen, though. I liked that hill the one time I was there...

Mountain Creek could pull it off too. I'd say that roughly 50-60 percent of the snowsports enthusiasts at Creek are boarders. I'd be curious to know the exact statistic. They do have a strong racing program there, and that would be something that would hurt them if they went boards only. Still, with terrain parks set up mostly for boarders, and their clientele, it might work...

There is one resort I know of that does not allow skiers, it was in snowboard magazine a little while ago. The place is called raging bull snowboard park, its in chicago and is more of a hill than a resort but its still pretty cool, heres the link : http://www.ragingbuffalo.com/snow_home.htm

Check out the terrain pics, looks like the stuff is setup pretty nice.

Another thing I love about MRG..truth is 'snow conditions'...

Mad River Today Feb 18, 2006 at 09:00:00

The wild winter of 2006 continues and once again THE BAR OPENS AT 11AM, come on in and catch the Olympics, enjoy a Single Chair Ale and maybe even take a run or two - If You Can! After warm temps with sunny skies and some of the nicest spring-like conditions you could have imagined on Thursday, things turned ugly (again!). What a difference a day makes. On Friday the temps plummeted from the 50's at 8 AM to below 20 by noon. We saw an onslaught of rain and a tremendous wind storm with 80 mph gusts that took out power for the entire day. The rain turned to blowing snow around noon on Friday and we have picked up an inch or so of new snow. We lost a fair amount of base during this weather event and things are certainly wicked firm this morning. Today's skiing is for EXPERTS ONLY! We plan on "skiing" on roughly 9 trails off of the Single, the Sunnyside Double, and the Practice Slope. Due to the limited terrain, tickets are $35. Come on up and ski the legends that are Antelope and Fox/Vixen!
