Timeless Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Can any of you burton fan's out there tell me if the three hole mouting is compatible with a "normal" 2*4 board? I'm thinking of getting some cartel's for my new board (Ride), overcoming my unfounded prejudice towards burton gear. Any opinions on cartels as a mid level binding? any alternative suggestions? I'm looking for response, aimed at fast free-riding rather than park/pipe. Thanks Quote
i wear my gogs LOW Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 they come with the option of 4 or 3 on one base plate Quote
Stevo Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 (edited) Depending on the model, or they come with both sets. Edited February 8, 2006 by stevo Quote
adrian Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 cartels come with two discs of each type, not the universal discs. they are great. i ride them and appreciate the response and comfort. Quote
nick malozzi Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 yea u should be fine, i think all burton bindings come with a unniversal plate or a second set for oldschool. Quote
adrian Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 the universal plate is on the lower end models. the middle and top of the range get (2/4)x4 discs without padding and 3d discs with padding. if youre truly in a bind, the (2/4)x4 discs can be used for 3d inserts and the 3d discs can be used in (2/4)x4 inserts if you want them to.
