toast21602 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 i thought he was looing for a freeride program? Quote
skimom Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Is that seconds or handicaps? For a 9 yo, I'm thinking seconds? Why not have him continue at BC NASTAR on Wed or Blue on Thurs? If he asks the starters for pointers, he'll improve quickly. Quote
beachiegirl2ski Posted February 9, 2006 Author Report Posted February 9, 2006 that was seconds. sorry im new to all this dont really know if i should post the seconds or the handicap. toast he is 9 he seems to change his mind alot! i would love to get in to both types of programs. but i think he finally made up his mind about skiing and snowboarding.. its skiing!! Papasteeze Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Have you found the http://www.nastar.com website? There is tons of info on how it all works. I would explain now, but I have to run. Hi Beachie!!! Quote
beachiegirl2ski Posted February 9, 2006 Author Report Posted February 9, 2006 welcome back daddy i have found that link.. thanks Quote
skimom Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 Beachie, why not do NASTAR too? We have a lot of parent-racers, even if we don't go as fast as the kids. Quote
NJSkiFamily Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I agree with skimom, Beachie, definitely take some runs yourself. Quote

NJSkiFamily Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Beachie, Do this.....at least get yourself a NASTAR registration number. That way if you decide at the last minute to take a run then you'll be ready. I race with the equivalent of the emergency brake on. Quote
